Likes

The atmosphere is really nice here, very peaceful
Various sports equipment and gym is available for work outs
Hostel quality is very good and food is not that bad also

Dislikes

Far away from the main city so it's hard to go out everyday
Mess food quality is not that great and transportation is not good
Very less places inside campus to hangout with friends

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is well structured, it combines both theory and practical. You will develop new skills after coming here. The grading system is good, courses are fresh and new not old. Mostly required for current day environment

Internships Opportunities

Internship offered by Google, Microsoft, Adobe etc each pay around 50000 per month and can be turned into PPO. Last year one guy got 80 lpa job through internship, so they have plenty of opportunities you

Placement Experience

Campus placement is quite good, more than 80 percent students get placed every year. Many reputed companies like Google Microsoft comes to the campus for placement. Even PSUs come to recruit from the campus

Fees and Financial Aid

Course fee is affordable as I have paid 40000 per semester which includes everything from hostel to tuition fees, college fees is around 25k while mess charges are around 18k. If you belong to sc st catagory you will get a relaxation of 5k. Mtech students get a scholarship of 12500 every month

Campus Life

There are numerous clubs in the campus where you can pursue your hobbies. From dance to robotics there is a club to catar to every need of yours. People are engaging in the campus. I like it very much

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is very good, hot water, WiFi even game room is there in each hostel.hosels are quite new so they are well maintained. I like the hostels very much. Every week people come to clean your room. You have washing machine facilities

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

I applied for iisc bengalore but couldn't cracked the interview. I was not shortlisted for IIT Bombay and I really wanted to join climate science so IIT bhubaneswar was the only option left. But after coming here I don't regret my decision

Faculty

The ratio of students to faculty ratio is quite low, but the facilities are very helpful to everyone. Only problem is with the staff members who works in the academic section. They will delay your any work related to your academics.

Night Life

Nightlife is there as many canteens stay open till 2 Am in the morning for people to come and enjoy. Various places are there to hangout at night. But beware of snakes as the campus full of it snakes and wild boars.

One of the Best NITs

Placement Experience:

Our college is providing many placement opportunities and internship opportunities. We are eligible for internship from 1st semister onwards and Full time placements after completion of 1st year. Many companies like ADI, Samsung, Nvidia, Intel, Google, Apple, Ola, Mediatech,etc,.... will visit our college every year. almost 90% of students are getting placements every year. I want to join in a core company after completion of M.Tech.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester of undergraduate and 3rd semester of postgraduate student are eligible fir campus. But the number of companies come to take agriculture student are very less which is disappointing. Mahindra company comes which gives the highest package upto 6 lakh. Other ngo like pradan also comes. About 30% student get placement My plans are for civil service after my course

A wholesome experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are starting from like 6LPA. 6LPA is the starting placement, which is pretty good when you get to see the competition around. It can go upto like 50LPA, last year Microsoft took 3 students by offering them 48LPA. But you have to get skills to get hired.

MY EXPERIENCE IN JUST 6 MONTHS

I APPLIED ALL THE IITs AND i.e THERE ARE 23 IITs IN INDIA. I GOT CONFIRMED ADMISSION FROM ALL THE 23 IITs AND SOME OF THE NITs. I CHOOSE THIS COLLEGE OVER THE OTHERS BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY BENEFITS FOR ME.
