Overall I had a lovely time and very enjoyable moment in my college.
Entrance Preview :
KIITEE KIIT Entrance Examination I ranked 107 (all India) and I opted for this college because of highly qualified Teachers and Faculties, and infrastructure for carrying out RnD Activities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course has been structured properly and the subjects are all relevant to your academics. I have opted for Computer Science and Engineering , so whatever subjects and papers we have are all relevant to our domain knowledge only ( for eg, Cryptography, Artificial Intelligence, Network Security, Advance Java, Advance DBMS, etc to name a few.
Internships Opportunities :
The college do not provide any Internship but helps and supports student to take internship from reputed organisations. In my Post Graduation I was working as a Teaching Assistant and hence was getting stipend for that (7000 monthly). I was responsible to take Technical Labs.
Placement Experience :
Placement is very good. We always 100% Placement for B.Tech Students and almost 70% for M.Tech Students. Some Students have more than 3 offers at a time. Major Companies who takes part in our Placements Process TCS, Wipro, CTS, Capgemini, Accenture, etc.
College Events :
There are various events round the year starting from sports, quizzes to International Conferences. Every year they organizes ICDCIT ,International Conference on Distributed Computing and Internet Technology where all delegate people and authors from all over the world comes to give there presentations on their research paper and articles.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I am not aware of such scholarship as such but they do give loan that can be availed on meeting certain criteria i have not taken any loan so am not so sure about the process.
Campus Life :
The boys and girls are almost in same ration in every departments you get people from various states and religions which helps us to grow as an individual. Our College does organizes several workshops , sports , several events to bring students together and help them to grow in all aspects.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel Facilities are quite good. Indoor games includes carom , Table tennis. Separate studies room are also available so anyone can utilize that place. Hostel rooms -- 3 sharing per room hostel food are good and tasty but sometimes the food quality is not good. But overall the food is healthy and tasty. The menu is also different everyday so one will never bored of food.
Alumni/Alumna :
The seniors are very helpful and more often we rely on them when it comes to project and research work.
Exam Structure :
We have 2 major semesters in one year. Internal Assignments and Practical Lab session are also included for overall performance. It is very important that we clear Practical Lab exam as well as our main semester exam in order to get promoted inn next level.
Admission :
For getting into this institution KIITEE entrace exam has to be given and needs to clear the exam with a proper cutoff marks. As i have already mentioned I ranked 107 which helped me to get into this institution and to take computer science and engineering with Specialization in Information Security.
Faculty :
The Faculties are highly qualified and Knowledgeable. They are very helpful and are very approachable. Almost all Faculties are doctorate and very few of them are Post Graduates. So there is no such compromise in terms of Knowledge sharing. Students are blessed to have as their mentor.
