Likes

Campus and the events/fests occur here,its management.
Faculty member teaches and explain every topic very nicely
The college is fully ragging free and theres no beef between seniors and juniors

Dislikes

The college fee is quite more it can be in a reasonable side also
Back to back the events are cancelling in our college idk the reason
Canteen food is not included in the hostel fee

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course is very good and the college provides the best lab work activity and Teaches us the C programming and Coding.We do different subject lab work like CSIT DATA ANALYSIS IN SPREADSHEET and many more

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 154000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My fee for sem 1 and sem 2 foe Bca is 87000 for sem 1 and 67000 for sem 2 with no scholarship and the complete course 4,47,000.and I personally Think that the fee structure is quite average for a higher middle class people

Campus Life

My college is going great as a freshers as I did mentioned earlier that Idk the reason why my college is cancelling the Fest back to back But I am waiting For amiphoria,the campus is quite big and the canteen food is average

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is quite good as I said earlier Hostel dont provide food we will have to pay our food expenses with our own money which is quite odd but still the room are quite neet and good with potential room

Hostel Fee: INR 130000 per year

Admission

I choose this college because I was previously a biology students without maths and Suddenly i got Interest in IT I wanted to pursue Bca but many colleges was not offering me BCA thats why I chose amity

Faculty

Faculty member is quite good and There teaching style is very friendly with the students they explains every topic in a great way and also they helps im Clearing the doubts of students and takes extra classes

Night Life

There's nothing about night life its very silents being in a girls hostel is peacefull I dont know about boys but Here in my college they dont allow students to came out of hostel Before 10:00pm and even the canteen get shutdown at 9 or 10 one can come only if they have any issue or work outsite and one can go out for nightout by taking pass

Students are eligible for internhips from 4th sem onwards, provided they have no backlogs and are well equipped for skills demanded by companies. The college provides good internships and job placements in reputable companies such as TCS, Wipro, Amazon etc,.[for computer science departement] with an average package of 3.5 LPA. The college has achieved a well rounded record of 100% placements[T&Cs applied] for 3 consecutive batches now[2019-22, 2020-23, 2021-24].

Course Curriculum Overview:

The technology has covered every sphere of life and for adopting some amazing technologies i choose to do this course to learn something outstanding and to dive deeper in the world of computers and machines. The curriculum can prepare you for the real world if you pay attention to your classes and studies you have to gain knowledge and always learn new skills to get into the job force.The course curriculum was good but the teaching methods can be improved.The exams were held twice a year one in November-December and the other in April-May. The exams were not very difficult to pass.

I got accepted to all private colleges which had psychology but I chose amity because they give you the freedom and to some people it might feel that amity is a fashion show but no, our hoi is very strict about it The campus is very spacious but climbing so many stairs without lift is VERY HARD. if only they could fix that I think everything would have been fine. Amity University, Kolkata from a btech biotechnology

I didn't apply for any other colleges though I thought of Adamas and Heritage. But I got to know since the last few years only marketing placements are being provided by the other colleges which I wouldn't prefer in future being a btech biotechnology student. Amity has better opportunities and placements which I heard from my friends who were already studying. I was a dropper student and I didn't want to take one year of risk so J got into this college for partial drop so that even If I don't get , I would still have a good opportunity .
