Course Curriculum Overview :
Civil Engineering Curriculum of this university mainly focuses on practical learning which caught my eye. The Curriculum prepares you well for the real-world. It has a mox of both and Theoretical as well as Practical Knowledge. One area of improvement I see is adding advance teachings Civil Engineering Knowledge and Equipments that are being used in the modern world. There 3 Hours of Theory and 2 Hours of Practical Classes per Subject per Week.

Companies like Amazon, Morgan Stanley, IOL, Mckinsey all offer imterdhip role for students. The task in these internships is to understand how work is done in Companies and the company culture and contribute slightly to the team. In project based internships you have to understand and help the professor on the project or research he/she is working on.

Admission :
I applied to DTU, NSUT and IIT. I got confirmed admission to DTU and NSUT. But I chose this college becuase it focuses on overall development of Students rather than just studies, NSUT is mainly focuses just in studies which may not have aligned with my expectations. I got rejected by IIT's because I scored less in JEE Advanced. My preparation was good but I didn't perform as expected during the exam because of pressure. The Admission process for DTU is through JAC Counseling. The examsl accepted is only JEE Mains. The cutoff is approx 90,000 for General Students. The overall Admission experience is smooth.
Faculty :
The faculy to student ratio is like 1: 200. Most of the faculties are very helpful and very approachable. The faculties I liked are Mr. Kongon Aryan Sir, Mrs. Sumedha Ma'am. These faculties are vey helpful and always listen to students. The faculties I didn't like are Mr. Awadesh Sir, Mr. Khanduja Sir. These faculties are very rude and don't listen to problem of students. There are 6 Mid-Sem Exams and 6 End-Sem Exams per semester. Average 5% students fail to clear the exams. The course is somewhat relevant.
