My College

Well i have just completed my first year where most of the subjectas are common for each branch so relevance with subject i cant tell about but yes i think whatever we have studied are really essential for an engineer to know.

Almost eveery top company that hires college students come to DTU so there a a lot of opportunities you need not worry about that. Also you can even do reasearch interns under proffs which gives an immense boost to your profile.

As far as i know even in the time of recission we had a decent placement graph better than many other rival colleges and in my chemical branch i guess highest package was around 30 lpa which is a decent one.

In the first year i paid almost 2,50,000 which included tuition fees, lab fees, admission fees and bascially all the expenses other than hostel and mess as i am a dayscholar if you are going for hostel you have to pay extra amount for mess and room. The college fees here in DTU is increased every year by an amount of 15k approx. At the time of admission itself it is mentioned the breakdown of fees and how much increment you have to pay every year.

Campus life of DTU is one of the best like a very good campus with like minded people, too many clubs for your betterment you almost never get bored here cause there are many fests and meets going on throughut the sem.

Being a delhite after not being able to clear JEE ADVANCED it was an east decision for me to choose DTU as it is closer to my home and also it is definately one of the most reputed college in NORTH INDIA. So it not a very difficult decision for me.

Well most of the faculties are very knowledgable and intelligent. Most of them are available for taking in doubts and are easily approachable. Talking about exams as DTU is a university in itself so papers are conducted and checked by our own proffs. Moreover we have in total two major exams in a semester midsem and endsem. midsem are generally around 20-25 marks and endsem are of 40-50 marks. Rest of the marks are cwsn which are internal grading based on attendance assignments and overall in class performance.

Night life inside college is great for boys atlest for girls hostel in time is around 11pm and i have heard they are very strict with it but not so much in case of boys. Being located in rohini if you arrange a scooty your night life becomes great, you can explore whole lot of places like nsp,cp or even go to murthal barely 20-30 min away.
