Remarks :

College management was supportive at times we had complains of some not listening to the demands of the students of exam rules and all.

Entrance Preview :

JEE according to the ranking, counselling was scheduled and got options of some college to choose among which chose EAST college and preferred based on seat available in Electronics and Telecommunication branch.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The 4 year course curriculum was divided as 1st two years basic studies like science, maths, etc along with organisational behaviour elective in each semester again 2 years is based on core electronics and Telecommunication subjects like Electromagnetic Theory and NT, etc also included 1-2 IT subjects as optional such as Core Java.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship experience was good one was in nokia siemens networks and stipend offered was starting 8000 rupees per month others were some local IT companies.

Placement Experience :

I was placed in the 1st campus placement satya computer services 46 were placed infosys 20 were placed Jindal steel 20 were placed .

College Events :

We had EAST Annual cultural event every year in which we participated in music, dance and ramp shows and also many competitions in singing dancing and also annual sports event occurs in which cricket, football, kab bad, badminton, table tennis etc games were conducted Intercollege project events were conducted and active participation of EAST students was there.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure was standard and of course private college it was so not very cheap bit also not very expensive.It was based on semester levels almost within 20000 per semester was to be paid.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Loan facility was instantly available for admission from banks tie UPS and also free seats and donation seats were there available based on merits and rank ING in JEE.

Campus Life :

Workshop on artificial Intelligence was conducted and many such in which students participated mostly it was tried to maintain 1:1 ratio of boys and girls still 2:1 was there no gender, caste, religion etc discrimination was tolerated ever .

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities were good which included food 3 times a day and also bus facilities from hostel to college and vice versa was provided it was 4 people room sharing available.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

We had frequent interactions with seniors even after passion even some helped in placing those who were still searching for jobs some IBM are who were alumni of EAST have helped placing almost 20 students after passout.

Exam Structure :

During exam time we had lab exams starting much early than semester exams so that we had sufficient time for preparation for semesters.

Faculty :

The faculty was really nice which of course included both experienced and freshers too depending on the difficulty of the projects faculty who were very much experienced took up higher semesters core subjects to teach.

Students are eligible for the campus in the 6th semester. Top Indian companies like Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Jindal, Tata Steel, and many more came for the campus. The highest package was 9 lakhs made by Tata Steel. 99% of students got placed. I had 3 jobs.

Average college within the state at affordable cost and prosperous future

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because at that time I was keenly interested in Engineering drawings, architecture, construction as well as estimations and costing. Here the faculty-student ratio is approx 1:18. Almost 1/3rd of the faculty are permanent and have a doctorate and they are well experienced. Guest faculties are also from prestigious colleges holding masters and bachelors. Examinations were conducted regularly in class as well as there used to be 2 internals in a sem and one end sem exam. Questions were set by the BPUT and it was moderate to difficult level.

Honest College Review

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester onwards. Companies like Ajatus, Byjus, Wipro , Infosys offer placement opportunities in our college. The placement rate has deteriorated over the past 5 years. Earlier 50 %-80%students were placed but now only 20%-30%are placed. Earlier the highest package was 10 LPA and the average package was 4LPA. Now the rate has decreased greatly. The college still tries its best to bring companies. Earlier the placements were more of on-campus placements but now it's mostly off campus. The training and placement cell hence prepares students for the recruitment process and selects the best students and gets them placed. After getting the degree I would be applying for interviews on the technical line off-campus and side by side I would do my higher studies like M.TECH.
