- The infrastructure and the college campus is really great. All the necessary things are available at the campus for students.
- Security- The college is really secured by an appropriate number of guards for the safety of students in and out including both females and males.
Dislikes
- The placement opportunities are not so good except MBA courses.
- The college environment impacts more negatively on students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The syllabus is good sctually but some of the faculties did't teach it properly. No doubt some professors are excellent but there are also some who don't know how to teach or how to make students understand a particular topic.
Fees and Financial Aid :
the yearly fee was around 70,000 including the scholarship. A merit based scholarship is given to each and every student. In the 1st semester the scholarship is based on the 2th board result and afterwards it is given on the basis of the result of the previous semester. there is also a special scholarship for girls as well as individuals of Uttarakhand domicile. Students whose elder sibling is already studying in the same University also get some deduction in the fees.
Campus Life :
the overall experience was good, social interaction, clubs, fest, cultural activities are really good. When I talk about the sportslife it lacks somewhere. Educationally, the university is doing okay but needs to put more efforts.
Admission :
I chose this college by trusting their promises and infrastructure. The university is good but in particulary in unprofessional courses the faculties need to understand that every course is important and teach accordingly.
Faculty :
faculty to students ratio depends completely on the strength of students of a particula course. the exams are conducted in every 3 months. The practicals and theory part is on a good level. Their are re-exams for the students who get failed in the examination at first. They have to apply for re examination, pay the required fee and then they are eligible to rewrite the exam else they won't get the passed certificate.
Night Life :
the cafeteria, campus, library are closed during the night. The hostellers can go for a walk inthe college campus but that's allowed only for a limited area. hostellers can go outside at night but have to return back before a spefic time.

The tution fees at UPES are relatively high compared to other universities, while the placement rates are not as high as those of other universities.
