- Wifi is not working many times which is a problem
- There are dogs in University sometimes they get aggressive and bite some students
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is very good for students who want to prepare for psychology related competitive exams. The timmings of exam is very relevant and the difficulty level is more than average which is good.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship in my course (Bsc. PsychologyHons) are provided by the hospital psychiatrist ward and Ngo. Some of them are paid and some of them are non paid. The stipend is around 5000 for a month TA and food included.
Placement Experience :
3rd yr students get the chance to sit in placement Companies like vipro, Amazon, decathlon etc visit our university during placement Highest packages are 50 lakh to 80 lakhs per annum Percentage of students getting placement is 80 to 85. My plans are of masters in my field
Fees and Financial Aid :
Per semester fee for my course is 17000 so i paid 34000 for my 1 year, the total fee for course will be 102000. During admission there is 3000 to 5000 thousand admission fee . There is relaxation in fee for SC ST EWS etc Scholarship of 50000 and more are provided
Campus Life :
There are many gest in our university buzam, annual fest cultural fest and every department has there own fest ,overall there are atleast 15 to 18 fest every year. There are smart board available in class rooms and for technical programs there are applle computers are available. The sport club is very active every year teams from different sport goes to AIU, cricket, kabbadi, volleyball, football, table tennis, Chess etc. There are many clubs vatsalya the literary and debate club , alankar the music club, natraj the dance club , Elysian the English club, Sarrthi the psychology club, Aakriti the photography and art club.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel provides you a almirah , a bed (no mattress), a table and chair , a wall rack etc The meal is decent not very good not very bad. The hostel registration are open when you fill the form for your course then they upload merit based on distance giving priority to students who live far. The hostel is very affordable 23000 for 6 months. There are many PG and rented room available in 5000 to 6000 .
Admission :
This college has Hons in psychology and its has a excellent curriculum which is very important factor. I get admission in karnataka college through cuet but it was very far from my home town and this university is very good and near my home town and hostel is easily available here
Faculty :
The faculty is very approachable always ready to help. Our HOD Dr Rajesh Bhatt sir he's a very nice teacher , always working in well fair of students and providing them new opportunities. The course curriculum is very good according to many competitive exams the difficulty level is not that much the students who actually attend class and study get very good marks
Interview Experience :
There is entrance exam in my university, no interview are needed until you are taking admission in Phd. The process is to fill the form give entrance , score good wait for merit then come submit important documents and fee and you are all done.
Night Life :
There are gyms in both boys and girls hostel the machines are well maintained and enough for everyone. Cafeteria is little disappointing the last Cafeteria owner was good but now the Cafeteria is not good.but still there is one more shop in LHC building people buy stuff from there. Hostel timing are 10 pm in summer for both boys and girls and 9:30 in winter for both. There is a place called titanic in our college where people sit, people also sit outside indoor playing uno, cards etc. The localities are very safe because its a residential area and mostly decent people live there
