The course is very relevant and it is very helpful for the students preparing for the competitive exams in their respective branches. The science department has a curriculum that is oriented to the JAM exam and the GATE exam. Also, the management department And the languages department impart their teachings in a manner that will be professionally helpful to the students studying in the respective branches. The sciences department also promotes research and has adequate facilities of various kinds of labs.

The college provides moderately okay internship opportunities to the students in other departments. However, in the languages department and the management department, the placements are pretty good. Companies like Amazon, Accenture, Decathlon participate in placement drives every year.

So the fees for the first sem was 24900, out of which 5000 was refundable security deposit. For the next five semesters, the fees was 17,000 per semester. There are scholarships also for the reserved categories under various names.

The campus life in Doon University is very peaceful, and therefore the students can be focused in a healthy social life. Student politics is also very moderate in the college, and the anti ragging squad has always actively worked towards stopping the ragging in the college, however, the cases are very less almost negligible..

Although this college was not my first choice, I had to take this college because I had some miss happening in my planning to go to college. Even though this college was not my first priority. I am not disappointed with the college because ultimately, the college suited me and my future plans.

The faculty to student ratio is around 40:1. The faculty student relationship varies depending on the faculties, some are very friendly and indulging with students while others are more lecture focused. Two exams are conducted per semester, the Mid-Sem exams and the End-Sem exams. CGPA grading system is followed in the colleg. In a class of 40, 1 or 2 students fail usually that too very seldom. The course curriculum is relevant to the competetive exams and the languages department get indulged in good placements also.

The college doesn't have much of a night life, the girls are instructed to be inside their hostels by 9:30 PM, whereas the boys have an extra half an hour for their movement outside the hostel. There aren't any big clubs near the college, but the street food around the college, and the nightlife is moderately good around the college.
