- The infrastructure of the college is well planned except some areas which is not that significant
- People here are really friendly and considerate of other people
Dislikes
- The strict rules such as tucking in your shirt and the mandatory dress code
- The strict attendance policy that even if your attendance is even 0.01% below the minimum you will be considered ineligible to write the exams
Course Curriculum Overview :
To be honest this college follows the same curriculum that majority of the colleges follow and right now I have taken btech data science and they start teaching you the required skills from second year like any other college. Exams are conducted every 2 months so that the student has enough time to prepare for the examination. For mid sems we had 2 exams each day cause for mid sem the syllabus is really small
Internships Opportunities :
Infosys , TCS , All scripts , TATA, These companies provide you paid internships and give your good work experience enhancing your profile. Make projects on your own all I could say even if it's bad or good.
Placement Experience :
They are eligible for placements after 4th semester and the placements are average, a lot of companies have visited I can't say them all ex like Infosys, TCS , and a lot of American and Taiwanese companies, the highest place ment in this campus was around 28lpa and average is around 1L and the percentage of students getting placements are below average like every other college cause this mostly depends on you and not the college its all based on your skill set. My plans are to get a job with a good lpa and I'm confident about that because I have a good skillset which would benefit the companies.
Fees and Financial Aid :
Yearly fee is around 3.2 lakhs for a management seat and through kcet it's just 1 lakh, the exam fee etc etc will be an additional 10k and incase you don't have enough attendance for your end semester you have to pay 6k for each subject. This college has its own loan system incase you are unable to afford the fee , thing is there is no interest but the payments must be made strictly on time. My batchmates who came thru management have a feeling range ranging from 3 lakhs to 3.6 lakhs max.
Campus Life :
A lot of fests and events are held and before mid sems we already had mind rocks and freshers day celebration and the next one is gonna be grand. The range of accessibility of books in the library is vast and the college has 2 different libraries one for fiction and other for educational purposes which has a lot of material. All the classrooms have a huge logic screen which makes it easier for the students and almodt everything is connected making it easier including ordering food in canteen and stuff like that. Sports in the sense there's a huge foot ball field tennis court cricket area and badminton court etc and a well equipped gym, a lot of student run groups and clubs are available.
Hostel Facilities :
High speed wifi , air conditioning, and modern furniture and a clean and hygienic washroom is provided for each room, the hostel food ain't that good and has both veg and non vegetarian food. The registration process was actually really easy and affordable around 1.2 lakhs.
Admission :
I chose this college as the management seat costs less compared to other colleges, there are colleges with even lower fee but don't have as much as reputation that this college has. I got rejected from few colleges because of my kcet rank and some other colleges cause I applied too late. The admission process is pretty simple, you first give all your details 10 , 12th marks and kcet rank if your eligibile and then 25k to block your seat and then pay the fee and thats pretty much it.
Faculty :
The faculties are very friendly and approachable, I like my Mechanical teacher and cse teacher cause not only are they friendly they are genuinely funny as well making them good teachers and they teach the subjects very well. I would say I didn't really like my math and ece teacher cause my ece teacher is sometimes pissing off and same with the math faculty. There are 3 exams each year mid sem , 1st sem and 2 sem and all of them are pretty easy except the last one and the last one was just like 30% more difficult to test you but if you just listen to what they teach in class it's more than enough . Almost all the students minimum pass.
Night Life :
Classes end at 2 and theres a lot of stuff you can do, for us we usually hangout near the cafeteria or near the sports area and there is a very delicious biryani place right outside the college and is really affordable and very hygienic. As to my knowledge the hostels are well maintained and aesthetically pleasing and very hygienic but the hostel food isn't that great and the hostel itself has a well equipped gym.
