- The greenery in the campus around which makes us feel like yesss we have done something to achieve this.
- The academic teachers are very polite and humble .
Dislikes
- Distance of campus from the city due to which if we need something we need go outside which is far from campus.
- Much restrictions which maybe good for college perspective but feels very bad for us
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is far better as far as of now . Im opting computer science and engineering. We are going through subjects like universal human values too which help us to be a good man which is a important thing . And the coding the main thing is the leading thing of our country. There are exams 2 times in a semester one is mid sem and other is end sem . And there are 2sem in a year.
Internships Opportunities :
Big companies like Amazon, Microsoft, samsung, byjus offers placement offers in our college..they offers internship In their and company and help students to learn work to do in future and pay a good money to them .
Placement Experience :
Placement is very good in our college. From 6th sem Students starts getting placement offers . Companies like Amazon. Google, servicenow and much more have visited our college.highes package of our branch in year 2023-24 is 35 and average is 10.44 and median is 8 lpa. 58.62 students got placed this year .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Institute fee of IIITUNA for the 2024-28 batch irrespective of branch and category is 135k for 1st semester and further 130k for all 7 semesters. The breakdown of 1st semester is like Tution fee-100k Academic fee-6k Non academic charges-2k Maintanence charges-5k Electricity and internet charges-12k Infrastructure and developement funds-5k Security deposits-5k If we talk for the further 7 semesters there will be no security deposits and rest is the same . . There are scholarship schemes available at nsp portal online for sc,st students and some private schemes are also there. In the nsp scholarship you'll get complete institute fee and hostel fee to your account.
Campus Life :
There are 3 major fest one is cultural fest -MRIDANG which is a mind blowing event and there's a sports fest YALGAAR which is also in this all games are there and all three branches compete for about. 20 days and there is a tech fest too named as MEERAKI In which is student showcase their mind-blowing tech skills .my experience in college now is very good we've a badminton court inside hostel which is never free.and all sports facilities are available in the campus .
Hostel Facilities :
In our hostel there are 3 beds and 3 almirahs . There is a balcony shared by two rooms and there is two washrooms in. 1 floor and there are 3 floors . There are 2 washinng machines which is enough for that much students. Hostel is affordable. Quality of food in mess is good but sometimes not as well but after telling mess workers they work on it .
Admission :
I applied for iiit ranchi and iiit una and iiit nagpur here are the reasons for both not choosing both iiit nagpur and iiit ranchi for iiit nagpur is that it doesn't have good sports facilities and a good campus. And for iiit ranchi is its temporary campus and far distance from my home
Faculty :
Im talking for cse branch classes Faculty to students ratio is very good for some teachers and not so good with some. The teacher I like the most is jaspreet mam for chemistry she is a very good tutor takes care if we are studying or not. The faculty i didn't like is not in my branch but in it branch in next sem he would be in ours. We don't like him because he wants all students to be dressed in formals otherwise he'll not let them enter inthe class.
