Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is vast in the field of biotechnology. So there are different subjects like microbiology, genetics , bioprocss etc and here they also provide honors studies along side with b tech . The course I found hard was bioprocess.all are theory and practice integrated courses and others are open electives from other departments like ece or cse. The exam time and the question and marking system seems fair . But left a bit of partiality with lectures.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee is the same for all the years . They provide you scholarship with your merit. I got 50 percent scholarship. The fee per year was 1 lakh and I got it for 50000. There will be registration fee and miscellaneous fee for 4 years .

Campus Life :

The campus is amazing and too big . I literally used to cry because of leg pains . It's a long campus with Greenery everywhere. There are good grounds , indoor stadium and library too. The management encourages to form clubs and conduct activities. They release good funds to conduct these. But lot of partiality is seen for Telugu people .

Admission :

During covid time in Hyderabad only cbit was having b tech biotechnology. So some family relatives suggest ed me this Kalasalingam university. Due to covid and competition I didn't get into cbit so I had to go for kare. They traveling is a bit disadvantage though . The language also. The addmission process taken care by the broker. All we can do by the website they provide us .hostel booking or course registration etc etc

Faculty :

The faculty are good as we had vast lecturers and for each sem they used to change. They have different teaching styles and even the lab technicians are good . The exam patterns are simple and the marking system is also based on written work and lab exams. Even the dean and HOD support us and guide us in placements and abroad studies and give a helping hand in choosing our careers . The best faculty I have ever seen

Review of placement

Placement Experience:

From 5th senester students are eleigible for the placements. So your 5th semester cgpa is very important. This college provide placements from companies like zoho, accenture, tcs , hexaware, mitsogo and more. The highest package is 12Lakhs and lowest package us 3lakhs.60 percentage of students are getting placed each year. Its fully depend on your skills. My plan is to place in campus placements for a web developer role.

Panimalar : A paradise For The Learners

Placement Experience:

The students get eligible fro the placements and attends interviews from the sixth semester. And the college starts to provide special placeement training from the end of the sixth semester. Even I'm still not eligible to attend the college placements, I hear a lot from my seniors about the placements. From those informations, some of the major and high paying companies like Accenture, Infosys, Sutherland often approach college for the placement. I have no knowledge about the highest package but average package could be ranging from 5,00,000 to 6,00,000 LPA. The highest number of students that are getting placed are from Dept. of AI&DS. With overall count of students attending more than 50% students passes the aptitude and reasoning test round, 15% of students passes the Group Discussion round, and only 5-6% students passes the HR round and getting placed. I personally started to hate these 9-5 jobs after hearing from the seniors who got placed in so called "best IT companies". So, my short term plan is to get placed in a high paying IT company and work till i get fired by any means. My major and long term plan is to start a business with all the savings that I've saved from my job.
