Course Curriculum Overview

5

Most of the students study before the exam but if we concentrate while the faculty is explaining we can see the same questions in the exam but the sad reality is not one listen to the faculty members. And the paper is very easy at sometimes and moderate and many times tough tooo everyone comes out by saying failed

Internships Opportunities

4

There are many opportunities for the internship but it depends on your choosing. You can also good for the masters in other countries it was available in the college the college having communication with the many countries

Placement Experience

5

Yaa the placements has already started but the placement rate is 80% according to the survey or as per our knowledge and u can hope the one in that 80% when you are perfect over everything.Remember your cgpa should be painted atleast 8 and communication is the main net over there

Fees and Financial Aid

According to the college management we have the merit based seats and donation seats I was joined at here by the merit based seats its very beneficial I feel.It was the main reason to join in this college for mee.And everyobe having the job opportunities but remember only when you go to college

Campus Life

5

Yes there are many clubs in the college and there are seperate clubs for telugu students also called vishaka club and for tamil students tamil Mandram but there is no biasity over the clubs .The telugu students can participate in tamil clubs and parallelely they too .

Hostel Facilities

4

Ha the hostel rooms are started from the 72000 and ends up at the 140000 and there is an availability of 2 and three and four sharing also attached and non attached deluxe and non deluxe rooms are available .The deluxe room with AC Is 140000

Admission

I joined this college because these are providing the merits based scholarship depending on the our 12th standard marks .So I joined here by that way and few of my relatives too suggested to join as it was near to the home

Faculty

3

The faculty at here is very biased I accept it even I am tamil student I feel the pain of the telugu students they are not cared by the faculty as much as they care about the tamil students .And we feel very shame to see that in our state

Interview Experience

3

No I didn't.I joined here by my 12th standard merit based marks .So there is no GD or interview in the college entrance. You should show your 12th certificate or mains or advanced exam qualification and you can join here

Night Life

5

Asking about the night life is a little funny thing because girls should get inside the main hostel gate before 6:30 . But boys can roam upto the 8'30 in entire college they have the freedom. But anyhow it's all for the girl student security

Placement Experience:

Placements at SASTRA are pretty good compared to many private universities. Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester onwards, though some companies also conduct early internship drives in 6th sem. Major recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon, Microsoft, and Bosch. The highest package has touched ?25–28 LPA (Amazon/Microsoft) in recent years, while the average hovers around ?4.5–6 LPA for most IT service companies. Around 75–85% of eligible students get placed, depending on the branch. The rest usually go for higher studies, UPSC, or start-ups. Personally, I plan to explore placements in IT consulting and later prepare for higher studies abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Firstly I'm doing CA Foundation as my primary career and I am doing B Com as I might require a proper College degree in future for various purposes. To be more specific I am doing B.com banking management as I am interested to learn about the processes of how banks operate and their functioning. Also I would suggest my fellow students to do a specialised BCom course rather than B.com general

Placement Experience:

There will be a scholarship based on the merit that they have scored in their past 11th and 12th standard and according to their merit, the scholarship will be decided. The faculty of the university is very good and gentle towards the students and they are very good intaractive with students and they are more effective to provide the quality education to the students Placement services was excellent and in my batch all are got placed The admission process is good but also we need to see some improvement such as giving more information on what are the opportunities of companies and average packages the facilities that are available and study plans. The management would always take initiative in sending us to symposiums as well as competition within and outside the state for us to gain exposure and experience.
