Teachers are polite, and they are really helpfull.

Class rooms are needed to be repaired, especially walls.
Benches in classrooms are like old ones.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Political science has good scope in future. It helps in understanding society, governance,etc. It should be quite practical not just theory based. It gets boring if we only study thoery. Sessional exams are there in 1 semester along with semester exam.

Class Size : 85Course Fees : INR 10322 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I paid 10322 rs in total for 1 year. And i applied for reliance foundation scholarship. I have 4 years course, so in total i have to pay around 42000 in total. Registration fees was 500 rupees. Other categories students have less fees.

Campus Life :

Every festivals are celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm. We celebrated Dussehra in main campus of banaras hindu university. Sports activities are also conducted. And NCC camps are also organised in bhu .

Admission :

I applied for banaras hindu university, varanasi. I applied for main campus, and i applied for allahabad university. But i got dav pg college varansi which is affiliated to banaras hindu university. So i chose this college. I chose it over allahabad bcz it is quite near to my home town.

Faculty :

For every subject we have atleast 5 to 6 teachers, As we know. Social science department is good, alm teachers are friendly. We have sessionals exam in every semesters. And we have total 8 semesters exam. I dint like sociology faculty.

Night Life :

Gys facility are available in indoor stadium. Hostels are not available for boys. And pg are also not good in this area. Hamgouts are mailnly in main campus . It has good environment. We can for cycling in main campus not in my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course structure was well designed and updated with the ongoing preparations of government exams which helped me alot in my preparations as everywhere polity is something that is a mandatory one and hence the curriculum plus the overall teaching pattern the timing of exams and the level of difficulty was moderate if someone had attended all the classes, plus the marking scheme was a bit hard and other aspects like attendance was also included, however there's no such compulsion that one must attend the classes this was only applicable for sessionals

Economics Honours at Amity University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.
