Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course outline is designed to be really well. For the field of psychology, course of bsc are not vastly present in the country and nmims being one of the few which offers such a course has an advantage. The course is designed well and overall follows a structured approach. It gives comprehensive knowledge of the science side of psychology and unlocks a lot of new opportunities for future ventures

Internships Opportunities

2.5

The college does have an internship department but the payment structure of that is highly subjective, primarily in the field of psychology internships are unpaid in the bachelors course. Our course doesn't provide as many opportunities in terms of direct placements and internships

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure per annum is for the batch of 2023 to 2026 is 1.93 lacks per annum. Along with with that 7000 extra as security in the first year. However the fees structure increase a little for every new batch incoming

Campus Life

4

The college is well engaged with club activities, commities and councils. However it does miss the sports field as a lack of space in the college to build any grounds. Various fests like MIAW, in the month of October, PFF, in the month of February take place and are great events for psychology students in NMIMS

Admission

I had also applied to Christ University, MIT WPU , Amity Mumbai, and a few more. I got admissions in all the colleges but I choose NMIMS over all these colleges primialy because of the course they were offering and the brand value that NMIMS gives to it's students

Faculty

4

The faculty in the college is good in general however a lot of times new faculty is hired and they may be not the best at times. Our college does provide us with the feedback option with faculty members and actively tries to fix problems with the faculty

Course Curriculum Overview:

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

Placement Experience:

Many college campus placement plans are provided by our college. Companies like ICICI lombard, Motilal Oswal, Kotak Mahindra etc. And each year I have seen manu students get employed too. The packages are around 60k-1lpa. But few have also gotten 3lpa aa starting salary. I plan to do master in design after I complete this degree.

Placement Experience:

The Placement Cell is responsible for the placement process. It is not very streamlined. Getting a job is considered tough, usually, the student has to search for it themselves. The average package offered is about 4 Lakhs which is okayish. Usually, students go for masters in Europe which is one of the best options. About 40 people apply for placements out of 180 students and out of that about 20-30 get placed.
