Course Curriculum Overview

Overall cousre is good professors are cooperative. I was aiming for bank po exam so opted for bcom. As it will help me in future for my exams. Cousre is quite lengthy and we got less time to study for our semester exams

Fees and Financial Aid

One time fees for laxmi bai college delhi university is rupees 13493 for bcom programme course . For any other courses it differs. Faculty of college is very nice teachers are very good and friendly. Infrastructure is also decent. Overall it is a nice option.

Campus Life

Campus life of lamxi bai college is not so hyped but it is great . we have many clubs and societies like dance , music , women develope ment cell and many more we have sports facility , library of this college had wide range of books . Over all this college is decent on talking about campus life

I got into laxmi bai college delhj university through common university entrance exam. I got this college on 510 marks my preference list for csas portal was quiet wrong so i got this college and had no option to upgrade if i had made good preference list i would have being in any other good college but this college is also great

Faculty is very cooperative. As my cousre is bcom program sem wise subjects are different and marking scheme is divided in attendance assessments, assignments, and many more. attendance maintenance is very important in this college.

Things you should know before get into DYAL SIGH EVENING COLLEGE, DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

When i was applying to the college i looked at the course structure and i thought its pretty good i would love to study this but the reality was completely different once i joined the college. i'd say couse just got rebranded via NEP but it's not worth at all to study this couse. i found zero relevence of this course in real world applications the entire course need to be re-structured as soon as possible its not worth at all to study subjects that makes no sense for Bcom srtudent

Life at Venky

Placement Experience:

In SVC students become eligible for placement from the start of 3rd year. Recruiters like Deloitte, KPMG, Genpact etc. Companies comes to SVC and select students on the basis of their selection process. Generally applications round, group discussions and interview happen. The avergae placement package of our college is 5 LPA and till now the hightest is 15 LPA. Some students go for placements but some go for CA or MBA or any professional course. My plans after getting my degree is getting into Banking sector as i am preparing for Grade B exam.

The place of college is good, college is located in Punjabi Bagh, near to market, college also has its on canteen which provide good and fresh food. It also has its on parking and playing ground. The only bad thing about college is the size of college is little small.

I applied to almost all colleges offering the course that i have chosen, i got confirmed admissions in majority of them, however I chose this college because of it's location, unique exposure and the faculty. However, some of the colleges I applied to rejected me too, as this course is highly competitive and very few colleges offer this course, I acknowledge that I am not the best and hence I lost my spot in those colleges. The admission process : - Sit for the cuet exam - Portal opens for admission to all du colleges after one or two months, register there. - Admission happens in three phases through the portal ? registration, making and submission of the preference list (course wise and college wise) and lastly the allotment. Interest in Business and Economics and getting a DU Degree is the only reason to go here in 2025.

There are only 10 colleges offering BBE in Delhi University. So, therefore, the course is high in demand. It is a professional course so the college is still in the process of adapting to a professional setting. I applied for all other colleges offering BBE in DU, and got admitted here via the Common University Entrance Exam (CUET). My preference was to go to Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce to pursue this same course, but the cutoff for the same is very high.
