Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose chemistry because i like this subject..its quite difficult subject but yeah if u stick together with the teacher their is not going back after this that u will hate this subject..the area for improvement is to give every subject their timing , in my college the timing is quite bad..

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Their are huge internship opportunities are available in my college and every year a lot of companies came and make their offer...if we talk about TCS came and by the performance of the students they offered internship and if u will perform well they will get the stipend of 30 thousand...

Placement Experience

4

After 6th semester the students become eligible for campus placements...tcs , wipro , infosys , google many good companies had came and made huge offers...avg package was 30 lpa and highest will go upto 2 cr...90 percents of student get placement every year by their performance...my plans after getting the degree was to pursue masters first.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am paying semester wise fees rs 23000 which is 46000 yearly fees...and yeah i am not in scholarship basis...and indeed it is merit cum need...each course has different fees like my friend is in economics batch she is paying 25000 per semester so yeah there is a different in price range..

Campus Life

4.5

Udaan career fest, annual function , srijan etc are our annual fest which held every year perfectly...their are huge range of books in our library...the classrooms are air conditioned and well maintained the infrastructure is awesome...sports and other curricular activities are Very nice we have swimming pools , gym , basketball lawn , badminton lawn etc. Their are huge societies and clubs are running by students in college like quidra , chorcha , sports society and many more...

Admission

I chose about 15 colleges and in every colleges i was late , so i couldnt get the admission but in shree shikshayatan i get the admission easily by merit based. I didnt get rejection from the other colleges but i was late so couldnt make it through.

Faculty

3

Faculties are very approachable , they will see every students in the class and they try to make bond with every student , i liked the most is agnita maam in my college she is very cooperative...the enthusiasm she made in our classroom is so good..the physics teacher shaheen maam is baddest of all she didnt even listen to your excuses she will jst say that u should not attend the class if you dont have copies. There are total of 5 to 6 exams which is moderate a 10 percent of all fails every year..

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Computer Science)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've always found economics to be really interesting and thats why I choose to persue it. I wanted to dive deep into the actual concepts and workings of the economy and understand how the world works from an economist's point of view. Sadly the curriculam doesnt bridge the gap between theory and real life. It focuses heavily on textbook and not how the world works.

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

The Physical Chemistry faculties are the best I got, that influenced me to carry forward my research carrier in Physical Chemistry. The curriculum for the Physical and Inorganic chemistry are upto the mark and I felt improvement in teaching style and curriculum is required for Organic Chemistry part. The difficulty of Internal examination can be improved a bit.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course is good but you have to opt for masters and PhD to get a good placement. After bsc there's not any placement. The curriculum was basically practical and theoretical based. But I think it should be more practical so that we can get a job after doing bsc. The teaching method was good I didn't have any problem with that. As it was under Calcutta University so the exam questions were too difficult, sometimes it came out of our syllabus , i think they should change this a little bit .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus for BSc. Microbiology Hons. was in line with my interests. Few topics like virology, bacteriology, and diversity of the microbial workd are what drew my attention to pick this course. Although there are some portions which one would consider "boring", but I believe every subject has its interesting as well as boring portions. It's seems fair to judge a subject by seeing if the "boring" portions outweigh the "interesting" parts or not.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness of the course curriculum, my rating is solid 4.1 out of 5. Because it offers a variety of courses like compulsory english, environmental science, constitution values of India, Inter Disciplinary Courses where one can opt for a variety of subjects which change along with the course proceeds or semester changes. Not only that two major papers and one minor paper are present throughout the semester. As a student we should be well aware of our country and its law as well as how we can keep our environment healthy followed by sustainable development.
