All about VIT

Remarks :

You'd have to do a lot of hard work to get CGPA you won't be able to hone your skills. Due to assignments and regular exams, I don't get time to work on my own, things I want to do. You've to be very good at keeping a good image of teachers.

Entrance Exam, Merit List

Course Curriculum Overview :

the course curriculum is pretty much normal follows the general IIT pattern and is very flexible but old. The exam structure is continuous, so quite difficult to manage since they have great weightage in final grades so have to be taken seriously.

Placement Experience :

There are a lot of placement and job opportunities, a lot of around 400+ companies come every year and if GPA is above 8 placement is over 5 lac. There are events where companies come for first-year students too so that's quite helpful for final placement.

College Events :

A lot of cultural fests, hackathon, marathon, reading, quiz, Intercollege, coding events are organized. We have at least one event every day. Moreover, we have Riviera where celebrities like Sonu Nigam and Shirley come and we have gravitas which is a fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

If you get to get in college with a good rank you'll get category 1 which is quite feasible but as ranks get higher the college fee gets expensive, much. There are scholarships offered too if you are in the top ranks.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

People who manage to get in the top fifty get 75 % on education free, and 50% and 25 % subsequently. For poor people to there are scholarships. The loan can't be taken from college but they do provide 3rd parties to do so.

Campus Life :

Yes, there are a lot of labs which are really the best part of studying here, u won't get to access Google on vit's laptop since they're blocked but the rest can be done. Moreover, we can pay and take part in sports they'll provide extra credits.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes to a bit, but since pov of everyone is different so can't say completely helpful. alumni meets are done, for things apart from studies they are very helpful you can get to know a lot of places and activities you can do from them and good food places.

Faculty :

They are ok. Some are very good who really want to teach and get the person to succeed but some faculty are strict. They think everything they say is right and compete with students. Anyway most are helpful.
