Selection criteria
Admissions at Sree Sastha Institute of Engineering and Technology generally take place through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling for B.E./B.Tech. courses, through NATA counselling for B.Arch. course, through TANCET counselling for M.E./M.Tech. courses, and through government MBA entrance exams for MBA course. It has a good amount of facilities necessary for the students to learn and develop themselves holistically. The campus at Chennai is equipped with facilities such as laboratories, library, hostel, sports ground and indoor stadium etc.
Following are the facilities provided by the college to cater to the needs of the students:
Hostel: The college offers separate hostel facilities for both girls and boys which are very well-equipped. The rooms are shared, and the hostel has a mess which provides students with food prepared in hygienic conditions. The girls hostel can accommodate 600 students while the boys hostel can accommodate 750 students overall. Both the girls and the boys hostel are in the campus itself. The hostel fee is INR 85,000 per annum.

You can also have a sports curriculum and Laboratory for all the subjects and also have real-time handle meant there.

The Tutoring of this college is excellent. The fees structure of this college is nominal. This college has a quiet and calm atmosphere if compared with the rest of the colleges. The college has many amenities.
