Internships Opportunities :

Many a private companies come to provide internship offers for the students from 1st year graduation to higher studies. Like iit madras once approached for providing internship here. Like that many of them come here to find talented guys who are having potentials to learn or do something. They also provide stipends average 25k probably. So it motivates students too to join these internship programmes.

Placement Experience :

The placement depends on the courses you choose. For example if you have German hons there is a chance of placement after the completion of your under graduation but if you are a student of some other subjects like archaeology hons or say English then you may have to do Post graduation for placements The environment and competition here makes the students laborious which leads to a hard working aura inside the students that prepares them for competitive exams too like ssc cgl or chsl and many more. Campus provides better environment for startups too as it has a renowned name on the basis of studies so companies often keep looking and take interest on these startups. I am also planning for phd here.

Campus Life :

I would say that the campus life of bhu is best. It's full of nature and peace. It makes you feel like home and never disappoints you when you try to get inspiration from the nature here. Apart from that the campus is totally clean. It also holds events time to time which enhances the value of the campus in which many renowned singers perform. The library here is the best library with lakhs of books and has a cyber library too. Classes are also equipped with wifi and smart boards and projectors. There is a university sports board also which ensures that every young talent doesn't waste so it creates tournaments and trials time to time for such talents who can bloom there. there are many clubs running also like photography club, dancing club, singing clubs, literary society, debating society etc. These give an exposure to the students which helps them to be social and cultural active.

Admission :

Cuet is conducted by NTA for entrance in central universities like DU, JNU and BHU etc. Talking about BA Hons. From BHU it needs only a language and general test paper in cuet for being eligible for BA courses. Application can be filled from the official website of cuet.samarth.com the fees details and eligibility of different courses and universities is available there. The form filling fees depends on the no of subjects you choose to appear in during cuet. But ranges from about 700 to 2000 I guess. The form is available for students in the February. Exams are conducted in May and results declared in June or July. Then counselling of different colleges takes place which you have to again register on the particular website of university. Reservation is varied in different universities. The exams are not much hard only the focus should be on basics and reasoning is more important. Revising quants gs and reasoning and vocabs in English may help in exam for language and general test.

Other Applied Colleges

University of Allahabad - [AU] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Political Science)

BHU is much better that's why.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course structure was well designed and updated with the ongoing preparations of government exams which helped me alot in my preparations as everywhere polity is something that is a mandatory one and hence the curriculum plus the overall teaching pattern the timing of exams and the level of difficulty was moderate if someone had attended all the classes, plus the marking scheme was a bit hard and other aspects like attendance was also included, however there's no such compulsion that one must attend the classes this was only applicable for sessionals

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Event management seemed interesting but it's more work and less pay on every post The college did not provide any intenships or work so we had to do it on our own The college claims to give more practical learning and that's a lie they do not care about practical they just care about passing in the exams and attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

Political science has good scope in future. It helps in understanding society, governance, etc. It should be quite practical not just theory based. It gets boring if we only study thoery. Sessional exams are there in 1 semester along with semester exam.

We should always look on the positive side as the college is our second home. It provides us with all the amenities that a student requires immediately after completing their studies in school. All total, the college is good.
