The scientific equipment facilities in the lab is so great

Teacher student receive is very less decreasing the teacher student interaction in class

Course Curriculum Overview :

The specific aspect is that the curriculum has both poor and applied blend of science. It prepares students in both theoretical and practical aspects of science they are pursuing. The areas of improvement improving the computational facilities available in the campus. Mostly exams are taken once in a month and mid semester & end semester exams carry the most weightage in the grade

Class Size : 400Course Fees : INR 106200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid :

The first semester fees taken in form of tuition fees is 36700. The student activity council fees 9700 and the hostel fees is 6700. Hence the total semester is 53100. Hence the course fee is 106200 per annum. The institute supports scholarship by Department of science and technology like INSPIRE SHE scholarship. For students of scheduled castes and schedule tribes there is no tuition fee taken hence they only pay the other non academic fees.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is named ENTHUZIA held in March of every year. In the fest, many extra curricular activities are conducted. Also students from other colleges like SPA and NIFT are invited. There are many student run groups in the campus which conducts various types of events throughout the year. Sports facilities are great in the campus also it has its own gym

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is very great for two students living in double occupancy room. The space inside the room is enough for the students and the room has also cots , study lamps , tubelights , charging ports and LAN ports as well alongwith a fan. The registration process is done on the same day as of admission to the institute.

Hostel Fee : INR 4000 per year

Admission :

I also applied to other colleges but I got Physics in iiser Bhopal. The admission process is monitor by joint admission council . Every year in the month of June after JEE advanced , the iiser aptitude test conducted throughout the nation. this is the most preferred way to iiser. The only eligibility is that one should have a 60% in their 12th board examination.

Faculty :

The faculty student ratio is around 1:30 in some departments and 1:20 in others . Mostly 5 exams per a course is taken in a regular semester apart from lab courses. Around 5% of a batch fails atleast in a course. The course curriculum is highly relevant in the same strategy provides deep insights into pure sciences.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Students are exposed to labs from the first year of college which gives us hands on experience to conduct experience and develop scientific rigor. Exam season turns out to be hectic for some depending on the courses of individuals. There are some courses which are hard to score.

Review on IISER Bhopal for BS-Economics

Placement Experience:

For BS-Economics students,institute provides placement oppurtunities. Median package for BS-ECO students for UG-4 years if 17.5 lacs per annum. But only a handful of 10-15 students are able to grab campus-placement oppurtunites and rest all prepare for other competitive exams or go for off-campus placements. The highest package offered for this degree is 34 lacs per annum . companies like delloite, nomura, barclays etc. come to this institute for placements.

IISER Bhopal engineering sciences review

Placement Experience:

From 8th semester onwards student can become eligible for the placements. Mostly students here opt for USD in foreign universities rather than sitting for placements and going to corporate sector. Hence placement scenario is not that great. Steel companies like Barclays numura Bank and Dr. Reddy's lab usually recruit students. The highest package last year was 31 lakhs per my plan is to pursue higher education after the degree

Pros and Cons of IISER Bhopal

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that great because of being a research institute. Mostly companies don't visit again to the campus because most of the students don't sit for placement and go for higher studies in foreign universities. Still companies like Nomura Bank, Barclays , Dr Reddy's lab have visited in recent years. The average package was around 15 LPA because of less number of student sitting for placements.

IISERB BS Economics Review

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester onwards peoplee can opt for placements and hence not choosing to do Ms thesis at IISER . The companies that visit are mainly Nomura bank, Barclays , Sr. Reddy's Lab and Many other Quant Firms.The average salary is as high as 20 LPA due to lesser number of student sitting for placements.My plans after the degree is to get placed in a good company.
