University time was the best time and best memorie were made.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is very much effective and matches with the coporate world requirement. Industrial visits were being organised atleast 2-3 times in every semester. Expert lectures with practical knowledge is given to students. University follow case study and live example method for explaining th concept.

Class Size : 150Course Fees : INR 140000 per year

Placement Experience :

Infosys, waterhealth india pvt ltd, airtel, idea, aircel, tech Mahindra, Mahindra first choice, trident, hdfc bank. Average percentage of students is 60%. List if students who are willing to sit in placement process is prepared and then, the students with specified academic percentage will be allowed to sit in placement process. University organizes mock interview, personality development sessions.

College Events :

All cultural events like holi, ganesh chaturthi, etc are celebrated. National festivals lik republic day also get celebrated. Tech fest of management called tatva, tech fest of engineering students called titiksha and annual festival of University also get celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee is feasible. Total fee for 2 years was 2.9 lakhs. It is to be paid in four installments and fee can be deposited through cash, cheque or demand draft. No additional fee charges were charges. Yes, fee breakup was given. There is no hidden charges.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship is offered to meritorious students. I got scholarship in all the semesters for first three semesters, scholarship is half fee of the semester which was close to 35000 and for last semester, I got 75000 that is full semester fee as I was gold medalist.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio is 45:54 for boys and girls. University has well.maintained labs, libraries, sports events are also organized in every semester. Ice breaking parties, fresher parties, farewell parties are also organized. No discrimination is tolerated on the basis of caste, colour, gender, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes. Hostel rooms are clean, well ventilated. It has a chai, a table, an almirah, 3 book shelves and a bed. I guess rent was 7000 for a year. Mess was also nice. For hostel and mess, I would rate them 8.5 on 10 point scale.

Hostel Fee : INR 7200 per yearExternal Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Experience on interaction with senior is fair. They are supportive and caring. They always help us.

Admission :

Reputation and placement of University made me take admission in university. Admission procedure. Is as follows Apply to university notification with Mat exam score Then list of students is prepared and they are called for group discussion and personal interview Finally, Selection list is prepared

Faculty :

110 lectures Average age of teachers is 35 years with qualification equals to post graduation or ph. D. Many of them have practical industry experience. All the lectures have industry projects and atleast one industry based experience. All have up-to-date industry knowledge.

As far as IPM is considered, there is no such record of placement for this course as of now. Although we will be taking placements along with the existing MBA core batch, hence, our packages will be somewhat similar to them only.

The placement cell and the committee has the responsibility for placements. And the 100% placements is there. This year the average package has gone around 16 lakhs. Min. was around 10 lakhs. Intership also got 100% placements. So placement records are good.

since the starting of the Second year at IIM Jammu. The students are eligible for the campus placement. But the companies has different criteria for the eligibility, sometime it may be cutoff based on the campus current CGPA or the major subject selected in the 2nd year by the students. Placement Experience:

After the completion of 2 semesters, we are eligible for on-campus placement and after the 2 sems, companies also start coming to smvdu . ICICI, SRIRAM, Berger, etc are the companies that come here. The highest package is 420000 and 320000 is the lowest package the companies provide here. 50-60% of students get placed and it totally depends upon the caliber of the students how they crack the interview. I want to work in an MBC and want to earn good money.

My first year MBA experience

Admission:

The admission to the course is based on the exam called CUCET which is conducted by the college for masters courses. The admission process is online and students can swatch for the application forms there.

Placement Experience:

Companies like Wipro and Infotech are some of the few which visit the college and have a process of recruitment. In general, the college can improve in the area of placements since not many students are granted placements.
