Course Curriculum Overview :

The course I have chosen is related to both core physics and engineering in electrical field so sometimes I feel some courses are irrelevant for me to study but I think they just to increase grades in college

Internships Opportunities :

After the 4th semester internship opportunities are at its peak you get to apply for various companies through placement and intership cell and also the companies provide very good stipend to the students who deserve this

Placement Experience :

As it is an IIT the placements over here are awesome but in recent two years they have fallen down due to recession but you can also try for off campus as IIT degree has its own value that is privileged and priceless

Fees and Financial Aid :

The yearly fees is about 300000 divided into semester wise fees 150000 per semester and you can avail scholarship of 100000 per semester if your parents in come is less than 100000 per year regardless of any category

Campus Life :

According to me if you want a best campus life then get in to the rollercoaster ride of IIT roorkee as it provides best infrastructure and top level sorts facilities and also a very cool club environment

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel Life is awesome but hostel rooms are small mess food sometimes it very good and sometimes it's poor but the greenish hostel Life is memorable for me so far as it provides sukoon to me and also you have very big hostels

Admission :

I chose iit roorkee over IIT Delhi due to the infrastructure over here is damn good and you can also get into IIT roorkee by clearing jee advanced with a rank under 10000 if you belong to obc category

Faculty :

The faculty of Indian institute of technology roorkee is fabulous and they conduct mid term and end term semester exams by giving 2 months of time for each and the difficulty of exams is good but it is easy to get just pass

Other Applied Colleges

IIT Delhi - Indian Institute of Technology [IITD] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Engineering Physics)

I didn't got the seat

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent for CSE branch. But for other baranches very few companies visit on campus. Also for other branches your Cgpa should be good to be eligible for companies. If you have interest in your core branch(other than CSE) than it is better to preparing for Gate in early stage(like start preparing from 2nd year).

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well I chose this course because I want to learn all coding language and AI and ml but I didn't see here I can do that...there should improvement in teachers and the analogy of teaching should be changed well the frequency of exam is good but one thing should be changed which is approach of teachers towards students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and follows all requirements set by AICTE. It familiarise students with the practical part of branch and theoretical also to make them a good engineer. But in implementation it makes some difficulties because of lab structure the labs doesn't have proper attendent to handle it.

I think from 8th semester they are eligible for campus placement. Many companies like HCL, Amazon, Tata ect have visited our college for placement. The highest package Is of 22 lpa and the average package is 4 lpa to 5 lpa . 60% of the students get placement My plan is to get a good package of around 15 lpa

You start sitting for internship companies in the 5th semester and for jobs in the 7th semester. The companies keep coming continuously. Big MNC's come every other month but startups keep coming every other day. The CSO keeps working till you are placed even if you are an NC student (have active backlogs). I have received an offer from HPE. There have been only 1-2 companies who came and didn't offer to any student. Highest package since Sept'24 (I am writing in Nov'24) is actually 40lpa from D.E Shaw to one student and average so far has been 5lpa.
