Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum here is not so real world applicable but some courses do teach those applications. From the perspective of further academic pursuits it's really good. As a student I don't feel any improvements in the curriculum.
Internships Opportunities :
Companies such as Samsung, ITC, Goldman Sachs,Phonepe, Siemens,Cisco and many more come with a average stipend of 40000. Roles offered are different as per the companies requirement. During your 3rd year you will be eligible for those roles
Placement Experience :
Some famous companies are as ITC , ORACLE which visited the college and mostly 70-80 percent students are placed every year. The highest package is around 80 lakhs per annum and average is around 8 lakhs per annum. Profiles offered are such as data analyst, etc .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual tution fees for general students is INR 1,20,000/- , Annual hostel fees is 30,000, during the start of each year annualy 12,000 is collected as development fees, lab fees , library fees etc. One time payable 15,000 as caution fees for hostel. For SC,ST students there is no tution fees other than that all fee structure is same. For the students having family income (Annual) is in between 1 to 5 Lakhs then you are eligible for a tution fees waiver (Instead of 2,00,000 you will have to pay only approx 50,000 ) other than than the fee structure is same.
Campus Life :
There are mainly 2 fests technozian which is conducted mostly in December and another one is springspree which is mostly conducted in the month of June. Other than that there are many sports events such as inter college competitions and one of the main sports event is INTER NIT in which students from all the NITS gather at a particular NIT for a particular sports. There are many books and journals at the library and this college has one of the biggest libraries among other colleges. Each classroom has smart board and white board both and some even has projectors and screen.
Hostel Facilities :
There are as such no great facilities at the hostel rooms it is a normal room with beds fan table chair light and cupboards. Meals here are not that good it's simple only. Menu is combined with south and North Indian dishes. Registration process is simple for hostels once you will pay the fees room will be allocated to you automatically for the first time. While registration process the hostel room which is provided to you will be given.
Admission :
Other colleges in which I got confirmed seats were NIT ROURKELA , SVNIT and many more according to the choices filled in Jossa and your JEE score. I chose this specific college because of its great placements and top NIRF ranking. It's one of the best NITS among all. I didn't get rejected but I chose to reject the branch which was offered in other colleges. JEE MAINS is the exam you have to clear for eligibility. Once it's cleared then you will have a counselling called JOSSA counseling in which you will have to fill up the list of colleges and the branch you want and according to your JEE score you will be given the list of colleges you are applicable of and can have a seat there. After that you will have to chose the college and the branch and confirm your seat by paying some amount of fees which will be settled later and have to reach college on the date released by the college for registration.
Faculty :
Faculty student relationship is quite good around here you can approach to them whenever you feel necessity or their advice. There are many best faculties i would like not to name them but some of them are very good and some are a little you know PROFESSORS . Exams are conducted 4 times one in the starting of 2 weeks of course Minor 1 after that there is the mid exams and after mids minor 2 and after that End exams .
