Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is relevant as its the college where evry department is somewhere connects with the modern demand of tech, having almost departments in a single place give you the opportunity to find what you love and want to create a new future intigrating them. Exams are after 1.5months generally and its not as much loaded in terms of other activities. The best place to learn and live in short.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I am paying as 1lakh 53thousand and 140 ruppees per semester(i.e. for 4 months) and roughly similar fees in the next, the most variable part in the fees is hall fees as it varies with strength of the hall and there budget. The tution fee is fixed which is 1Lakh and except that 18000 is mess fee per semester, and remaining are like hall fees, gymkhana fees etc. I do not hold any kind of scholorship so its the maximum fees anyone pays. In the other categories if your family income is less or you are from SC/ST category then your tution fee will be 0.

Campus Life :

We have three of the major fests. For tech its Kshitij, For social and cultural its Spring Fest and For sports its Shaurya. Except that we have one of the biggest asian libraries where you can literally access anything, it consist of more than 3 lakh books and basically i'm writing this from library only; classes generally tought from slides and you get the slides, so there's no worry if you sometimes forget to take notes, few professors still like the board method and that's genuinely nice. I am currently part of Student Welfare Group, which works for the academic help of the fellow students in campus. For sports you can literally expect the olympic level facilities for almost maximum sports, you gonna enjoy the first sight of our atheletics ground.

Admission :

The basic and the first point which came into mind after sorting my interest is, its the best college in terms of ranking and proffesors for department in india+ i wanted a college where i can explore many things, as i am a very confused kind of person when it comes to choose a fixed career, so i'm still exploring my interests and figuring out my career and passion. The selection mode is currently that you clear JEE Mains then Advance and then there's an exam called Architecture Aptitude test (AAT) its just qualifying exam and you don't get any rank from it the advance rank will be considered at last

Faculty :

I like the point when i can simply ask every doubt with my proffesors without hesitation, basically we have more than 75% attendance compulsary so anyways you gonna go in class so its better if you focus as you can save more time of side husttle after class hours, i genuine started liking the curriculum now as i already try to explore new things in my 1st year.

Placement Experience:

STUDENTS ARE GIVEN INTERNSHIP THROUGH WHICH THEY CAN GET CONTACTS FOR FUTURE JOBS. AFTER COMPLETING GRADUATION COLLEGE PROVIDES PLACEMENT IN ARCITECTURE FIRMS WITHIN THE CITY AND OUTSIDE THE STATE AS WELL. AS THE COLLEGE IS A NEW ARCHITECTURE COLLEGE THERE ARE NO PLACED STUDENTS YET AFTER THIS YEAR TE FIRST BATCH WILL GET THEIR PLACEMENT. WHICH WILL BE QUITE EASY AS THE HOD IS A VERY FAMOUS GUY WITH HIGH PROFILE CONTACTS. COLLEGE WILL PROVIDE 100 PERCENT PLACEMENT. AFTER COMPLETING THE DEGREE I WILL WORK FOR A FEW YEARS THEN OPEN MY OWN FIRM AND AFTER FEW MORE YEARS COMPLETE MY MASTERS AND APPLY ABROAD.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for internship- during 9th semester .No ideas regarding packages. Companies like L&T, DesTech, etc approach. Almost 80% of the students get placements. I want to pursue M.Arch after I complete my degree.

Remarks:

Lots of Freedom. Depends on the student to use it wisely. The college does not have intime, hence people can roam around anywhere nearly any time. This increases the safely issue. Also, due to too much feeedom, students end up in substanxe abuse quite often. It is upto the student to wisely go about the utilise the freedom to build good skill sets and interact.

Our college administration is quite bad, they don't understand the needs of architecture department but our faculties are very much helpful what i know now all is because of their teaching and constant support but infrastructure is quite bad for a private college

Remarks:

Being a private college under a branding, an environment of class segregation is created throughout the college which is not good for the mental health of students who take admission on the basis of merit. The class segregation affects the academics of the students as well. There is one good thing. There is a faculty feedback system that helps record the grievances of students regarding the teaching staffs and facilititates required measures to change the situation.

Entrance Preview:

Formerly IIT-JEE, now known as JEE-Advanced, is the entrance examination and the only option to get into any of the IITs. I had appeared twice for the exam, securing All-India-Ranks 17249 and 9471 in both the attempts.

Placement Experience:

IITs offer the maximum and highest placements in India, and IIT Kharagpur ranks 2-4 among all, most of the times. Highest package offered varies from Rs 1 crore to Rs 2 crores per annum.
