Remarks :

The university allows students with low percentage to study to fulfill their dreams of attending classes in a university. the greenery adds a big plus point for the university and the faculties were so helpful just cant thank them with a simple thank you all i want to say is a big thank you.

Entrance Preview :

Didn't took any entrance my percentage was low but this university gave me a chance to study. a friend recommended this university.

Course Curriculum Overview :

A lot of scope were there for research we can research on insects, genes, dna, microbiology, fisheries, wildlife and many more.

College Events :

Environment day, NEGC, Workshops, Unity day.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Admission 20,000 per sem. 25,000x4.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship for minority group, meritorious students and they help in education loan.

Campus Life :

The campus is huge with greenery all around, many workshops and cultural functions were celebrated. students from all over northeast came to study.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels were very good, rooms were big enough with wifi facility. food was hygenic and tasty.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure :

It was chilled out but completed each and every practicals.

Faculty :

Some international figures were there as faculties the faculties were doctorate and took special interest in there particular specialization and approach and motivate the students.

Life of student in NEHU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is according to the new NEP program. The course are quite easy and understandable as there are related to the topics done in your Bachelors degree. The exams a done every 6 months and also 3 internals each semester from which best of two will be taken.

My Honest Review

Course Curriculum Overview:

First, I was interested in my course i,e Counselling psychology since my class X. I took up psychology in my XI and XII but as my State Manipur does not offer Psychology that time, I couldn't continue in my bachelor. So, I ended up taking English. Even during those, whenever psychology things pop up in a paper or media, it drews my full attention to it. That interest makes me got letter marks in my class XII as well. The first reason I took up this course was, because I want to help people. Seeing lots of generational trauma that affects the up coming children, mental well being of people makes me want to change the world. I got a whole lot of sympathy and burden in my heart. Secondly, I want to know myself more. Taking this course makes more aware of myself, how to stand up for myself, understand people more. I did not regret taking this course. I'm fully content about my decision.

Review of NEHU, Shillong

Remarks:

The university is located a bit far from the city center and on Sunday commuting is a bit difficult from the university and very few cabs are available. The university has a great fleet of buses and they help the students to commute to all parts of the city from Monday to Saturday. There are plenty of shops, canteen,restaurants and departmental stores inside the campus.
