Course Curriculum Overview :

The total duration of the course is 2 years in which there are 4 semesters. Each semester has 5 subjects for which there are 4 credits making the total credit for each semester 20. There are electives and practical work in the third and fourth semesters.

Placement Experience :

The college have placement opportunities to their students and ensuring that all the students were able to sit for interviews which is why special attention was given to students who were a little behind in their academics.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The admission fee for the course of MA in Rural Development is Rs. 38,000 which is a one time fee. The per semester tuition fee for the course is Rs. 45,000. There is also an examination fee and other fees which are notified by the college.

Campus Life :

Events hold a major part of the college days and we have been a part of many different occasions in our time. We used to come together to organize many kinds of events which were both educational and recreational in nature.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni registration of the college was a must for all students and this helped the students to stay connected to their college even if a lot of time goes by. The college also invited many ex-students to share their experience and career knowledge with the current students.

Admission :

The eligibility criteria for the course of MA in Rural Development is getting a minimum of 45% marks in your graduation in any subject. The students would be then selected on the basis of their merit as well as their interview with the college.

Faculty :

The faculties of the college are very nice, even the ones who did not take our classes. We have even formed good bonds with teachers who were from other departments yet were on friendly terms with many students.

Placement Experience:

Placements are provided but i haven't really minded it. As for me i would go for competitive exam such as SCC and work hard to get in. My goal is to only get a degree so i can give exams. I also hope that everyone knows which field they should go into.

Life in a decent college

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is a professional course and its curriculum is pretty difficult. B.A.LL.B(Hons) is a 5 year course which spans to over 10 semesters. Some of th aspect that made me opt for this particular course is that one need not do a 4 year B.A. course and then 3 year LL.B course when one can do all that in 5 years. Additionally, after graduation from this course one can practice as an advocate directly after passing the BAR exams. B.A.LL.B(Hons) is a course which has both theory and practical. For most of the first two years pre-law papers will be taught to have a basic understanding of concepts and to build up a foundation for grasping the more complex papers to be taught in the higher semesters. This course also includes interning and this is implemented from the 1st year itself which is great exposure for students. The course however needs revision as it is pretty old. Exams can pretty difficult or easy depending on one's own capabilities and preparation as the paper can be tough.

Very good university.

Admission:

I got admission in this course after qualifying my Bachelor of computer application with 70 percent of marks. Any graduates from any discipline with minimum 45 percent of marks from a recognised university are eligible to apply for admission in this course. The admission process was very good in our university.

Placement Experience:

Internship facility was provided by the university. The university was average in placement and job opportunities. Many companies like Big Bazaar, Vodafone, Airtel, Max cement, BSNL, Pepsico etc come to our university every year for campus recruitment. They offered minimum salary package of 2.5 lakh rupees annually and maximum salary package of 8 lakh rupees per annum.
