Remarks :

As far no such bad remarks or experience of that height.

Entrance Preview :

I prefer this college Because of high rate of students pass out and high rate of college placement at that time. Some pass out also suggest me for this college. I also get my first job through this college placement. Apart from all, this college is also not so far from my home town.

Course Curriculum Overview :

There are various professional and other courses available in this college, such as Masters in Business administrative, Masters in Computer Administrative, Masters in Commerce and various bachelor courses as BCA, BBA, B.com etc. Apart from this this college has high school also adjoining the college premises.

Internships Opportunities :

No, they don't provide internship to their student (I am saying as per my batch time). I got selected through my own ways to the internship.

Placement Experience :

This college organise various job fares and also they attend various job fares in other campus and give wide chance to their students to get placement through their college. I too get my first placement through college. There is wide range of opportunities for jo in this college.

College Events :

The Events celebrate in the college were Annual Function, Convocation Function, Freshers party (Selecting Miss Fresher and Mr. Fresher), Farewell Party, Some sports and youth festivals and apart from this, the celebration of many festivals such as Diwali etc

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure of Punjab Institute of Management and Technology college was average. They charged around 35000 per semester in the year 2006-08. Hostel and transportation charges are extra. I would say, for the professional regular degree course, this much of amount is feasible.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

This college offered scholarship program to students who secure more than 75% marks in their +2 level.

Campus Life :

This college involved in many social activities, many sports activities (which happened annually in the college campus). Group discussions and debates were very common in the classes. There were almost equal ratio of male and female students but in the faculty, there were most of female teachers.

Hostel Facilities :

I didn't opt hostel facility but most of my friends were hostlers and as per their reviews, the facilities in the hostel were quite good. There are two hostels of this college. One is in the college premises and other one is around 2 km from college.

Alumni/Alumna :

I was not that much of in contact with my seniors but some of our seniors were very helpful in guiding us in study and in making social life.

Exam Structure :

Exams are conducted through Monthly Test, quarterly exam and semester final exams. External teachers also sometime come to take exams. Surprise tests also conducted in the college at different classes. Overall structure of taking exam are quite professional.

Admission :

I got admission through Management Aptitude Test (MAT), which is taken at national level. After this test according to secured marks, student can apply to different colleges as per their marks obtained. The admission process of this college is as per cut off list they display in the college.

Faculty :

The faculty of this college were very supportive, well trained and professional as they teach to students of professional courses. They provide literature, information apart from lectures to the students. Also help to students in their free periods.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from semester 3rd and the also get internship after 2nd semester. Placement rate is quite impressive as we look for the fee. In short more than 75% of the students will get placed and remaining will get offers as well but they don't join. My plan after MBA is be a good manager at some biggest company.

Placement Experience:

Final Placement also starts from August along with the Summer internships, Usually till February Most of the students get placed, but during our time placements was bit challenging due to market conditions. everyone does not get placed some opt out and those who did not get placed have to search by their own. Few students from my batch are still yet to be placed, Placements committee is bringing companies but those companies are not good or paying much lesser. In my opinion Placement Process should be done by Management or any Agency, Students should not be involved in the Placements role. When students are involved for placements and they have been provided with so much control and power they misuses it. The Placement Committee run by students does not work with transparency lot of misuse of power and control is being done by those students.

Placement Experience:

I already got placement in the final year of B.Tech from the same campus in a Noida-based company but want to pursue MBA first. It all depends upon the capabilities of a student to get a placement from a campus drive, college provides a good number of opportunities regarding the same. In my batch, all the eligible candidates got placed in companies either from campus placement or direct interviews. After completing my MBA degree, I will try for MNCs related to the semiconductor industry.

Remarks:

Our college is a very good college as compared to all the other MBA colleges in the city. The main advantage of the college is the shorter MBA course which is seldom available for the students seeking an MBA.
