My MBA Review

Remarks :

I did my masters from Punjab Institute of Management and Technology and the level of education I got from the college was impeccable. It made me capable enough to successfully start and run and expand my business. I would definitely recommend my college for the sole reason of its precious academics and the supportive faculty. Though the campus life and extracurricular activities are also refreshing and memorable.

Placement Experience :

Our college organizes the placement for students mainly through campus recruitments. The college had record placement during my batch and they are constantly improving ever since. Alumni of the college also help in organizing placement drives and sharing their expert opinions in order to prepare the students for the interview process.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure was affordable and on top of that, I secured a scholarship that helped me financially. I paid around 80k annually which was pretty feasible for a student from a middle-class family. The college provides pretty decent amenities to the students both on-campus and for the students in the hostel.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarships are also provided by our college to the meritorious students or students from financially challenged backgrounds. Students belonging to the reserved category or any backward class can also avail scholarship options offered by the state university.

Campus Life :

College provides a perfect atmosphere with a blend of informative learning and a fun atmosphere. The college might have many drawbacks, but we had many memorable moments in college. The infrastructure was awesome, with a state of the art library, computer labs, seminar rooms, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities were also provided by the college. The hostel rooms were spacious and had a homely feeling. The mess food was pretty good and hygienic. Both veg and non-veg food are served there and proper hygiene was maintained.

Alumni/Alumna :

The college maintains a strong relationship with the alumni of the college. They help the college in arranging placement drives. Students also get a chance of interacting with them during their campus visit, where they can interact and get an insight into life after the completion of their course.

Admission :

Admission is granted on the basis of the CMAT/MAT exam, followed by the counseling process. The administration was pretty friendly throughout the counseling process. I am glad that I got into college since it is one of the best MBA colleges, which was closest to my house.

Faculty :

The faculty was pretty friendly during class and after class. They were pretty flexible with the assignments and often levy the deadlines. They were very helpful and supportive, in general, throughout our course. They would constantly push us towards pursuing entrepreneurship.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from semester 3rd and the also get internship after 2nd semester. Placement rate is quite impressive as we look for the fee. In short more than 75% of the students will get placed and remaining will get offers as well but they don't join. My plan after MBA is be a good manager at some biggest company.

Our college is good for placements. Last year highest package was 14 lakh per annum. It also provide internship opportunity. One can also start his own startup with the help of college. Most of the students are placed. Many companies including Deloitte, fedral Bank etc. visit here. I also want to get placed.

Placement Experience:

Final Placement also starts from August along with the Summer internships, Usually till February Most of the students get placed, but during our time placements was bit challenging due to market conditions. everyone does not get placed some opt out and those who did not get placed have to search by their own. Few students from my batch are still yet to be placed, Placements committee is bringing companies but those companies are not good or paying much lesser. In my opinion Placement Process should be done by Management or any Agency, Students should not be involved in the Placements role. When students are involved for placements and they have been provided with so much control and power they misuses it. The Placement Committee run by students does not work with transparency lot of misuse of power and control is being done by those students.

Placement Experience:

I already got placement in the final year of B.Tech from the same campus in a Noida-based company but want to pursue MBA first. It all depends upon the capabilities of a student to get a placement from a campus drive, college provides a good number of opportunities regarding the same. In my batch, all the eligible candidates got placed in companies either from campus placement or direct interviews. After completing my MBA degree, I will try for MNCs related to the semiconductor industry.

After the core terms, the student is available to sit for placements. The number of companies is more than 1000 and offers more than 1800. The lowest package is 25L and the highest is 80L, but some may get even higher for moving abroad.

Remarks:

Our college is a very good college as compared to all the other MBA colleges in the city. The main advantage of the college is the shorter MBA course which is seldom available for the students seeking an MBA.
