- The faculties have very much knowledge on their respective subjects and they are super supportive, always give motivation, always tell us about the job opportunities or what better we can do so that we get better knowledge of the subject.
- The campus life is good, not super good but good in some ways..the campus is quite large, big ground in the middle and many sitting areas are there in the college. Seniors were super supportive, few canteens are there in the campus.

- Very less placement offers which is something that I think college should work on.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our curriculum follows the ranchi university syllabus and it level up with the future need of the subject but there are some areas with need improvement as they should focus more on lab and practical work and it should focus on future needs of this subject. We have 2 exams in a semester one is mid-semester and the other is end-sem. Questions are tough but not very much.
Internships Opportunities :
As I am currently in bsc statistics there are not so many but there are some internship offers from nsso office. Not everyone gets selected, only students who are up to the mark get selected. yes, you get paid for this.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We have an average of 5k increase in fees per year till the last year of graduation. The first-year fee is something about 50k and it increases on a yearly basis. There are many scholarships for students who come from obc or ST SC. They get around 40k as a scholarship per year. There are very few campus placements but I have taken a job role as an nss data analyst and got paid for it.
Campus Life :
Our college organizes a fest held in May or June month and a sports day in May month every year. There are many events that are organized by different departments and you can be a part of it. There is a Library which has so many books and you can also borrow them from there for max 15 days and can reapply if want to take them after 15 days. There are many clubs like the Rotaract club, nss, economics clubs, etc., you can be a part of any club.
Admission :
The student must have scored more than 50 percent in maths for bsc statistics. Yes, I took an entrance test and the cutoff was 60 out of 100. The questions are from 12th maths only. There are not very tough can say moderate type. one can get the admission form in the St.Xaviers College Ranchi website.1000 rs is the application fee. the price of the application fee should be less.
Faculty :
There is around 1 teacher for every 20 students which is quite good I think. The faculty members are very much qualified in their respective fields. In bsc statistics faculty should have at least msc degree in statistics and have good teaching knowledge. I interact with my teacher on a regular basis whether asking doubts or I'm feeling low. Teachers are always there for us.
