Course Curriculum Overview :
The course I opted for is Bachelor in Computer Applications with cyber security, where I learn about programming languages(currently learning about C and C++), and then it comes to cyber security which is a part of the curriculum in the final year, I chose this course because of my interest in cyber security and forensics, also this course makes you industry ready to get into compies like wipro and Infosys. Exams in the college are very punctual, happen 2 times per semester, mid and end-semester exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
This is a governmental program, hence no such fee hike is seen so often, complete cost of this course is rs. 49500 tution fees, per semester exam 320 rs for filling the exam form, a total of 6 semesters. Scholarships like E-Kalyan is provided to students for full coverage of the tution fees. there's no such thing as campus employment for students currently pursuing.
Campus Life :
Since the university is currently running on a temporary campus as the actual campus of Raksha Shakti is under construction, we do not really get many opportunities now though there are activities happening in the college like the annual sports meet, and many other celebrations like festivities, there are student-run groups too, like drama club, adventure club(for trips), etc.
Admission :
Eligibility of this course is- the student applying must be from a maths background, and he/she should obtain 70% marks in the 12th examination. The application form is either filled out through their website or online. Application fees are 400 for both online and offline modes. After the application form submission, the university releases a merit list on the basis of which the interview is taken and after the proper process the final admission list is released with the names of students who are selected to get admission to the college.
Faculty :
The faculty here is on contractual grounds, and 60% of the time there's no teacher appointed, though the permanent faculty members here are good, they help a lot when it comes to academics, and they provide ample notes (if you attend classes regularly ofcourse).75% attendance is mandatory, interacting with teacher happens quite often, as there are assignments and classes happening. Overall the teachers appointed are very qualified in their field of work.
