Location factor , Kurukshetra is not the place where you can enjoy your college life , It is situated at tier 3 city .
Co-circular activities are not good and coding culture is going down from past few years

Course Curriculum Overview :

Our course are pretty much updated , They taught relevant subjects required in IT industry . From first year we are taught OOPs , web designing and we have 6th sem inter to apply knowledge that we gathered in 3 years . We have well equipped labs also

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Here Microsoft , SAP Labs , BNY melon , google like Big MNC come to give internships to students with stipend upto 1,50,000 per month . Majorly all big companies came to provide internships . Internships are more in software development than core sector

Placement Experience :

Placements are good in NIT Kurukshetra every BIG MNC come here to provide placements and internships to students of 4th and 3rd year . We have average of 18lpa in computer department . Google micrsoft visit our campus

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Our per sem fee is 80,000 if your family income is greater than 5 lakh and if we have 1-5 lakh income than you get 67,5 fee waiver and less than 1 folks get whole fee waiver . Moreover our alumni provide different financial assistance and scholarships to need students

Campus Life :

We have different clubs and societies which make your college life memorable and enjoyable . Cultural clubs photog , literary debating club , fine arts make you follow your passions and hobby . Different crew , dramatics society is there who perform in many iits and nits

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel Food of my hostel h7 is very good . We have 11 boys facility and 4 girls hostel with WIFI 24*7 having good speed . Hostel is given to every student of college and is quite affordable with 6,000 rent for whole sem and mess fees 5 to 6 K per month

Hostel Fee : INR 60000 per year

Admission :

admission is done through JEE Mains exam and counselling done through JOSAA counselling .NITs have 50 % state Quota . Counseling is conducted in 6 rounds and then 2 special rounds. JEE main is 3 hour exam of 300 marks with +4 for every correct - 1 for negative answers

Faculty :

Our Department student to teacher ratio is very poor because of the increase in seats in computer department . Thats why we need more guest faculty every semester , But the teacher are very well qualified

From the 7th semester the stdunets become eligible for the placements and the companies starts visiting the campus. The more than 200 companies visit the campus and almost every company made on offer . The overall placement percentage was more than 90 percent . The Highest package was 60LPA offered by CRED to an IT Student. The average of CS Department was 9 LPA and for the core it was 5.5 LPA

Students become eligible for campus placement in fourth year and internships from 3rd year Around 450 companies visited nit for placement and around 700 no of placement offers are provided Companies like Adobe, Microsoft,Amazon,atlassian etc also visited here Highest package offered was of 62.5 lakhs and overall AVG package is 14.16 lakhs Around 80 percent students are placed My plans after getting the degree is to get a job with good salary package
