Course Curriculum Overview :

I have choosed computer science as my main course. The curriculum for the scores is good and is updated. They are well connected to the railway and applications. And it also helps us to connect with the real world experiences. But the curriculum contains some unnecessary subjects like constitution, professional ethics,etc. The exams are application based and average difficult level.

Class Size : 75Course Fees : INR 6000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Our college have tie up with many many companies. So there are number of internship opportunities for us. Also the last semester of our degree education is completely dedicated for internship. So the last 6 months can be used for internship opportunities and the after completing the degree they can directly enter into job.

Placement Experience :

Our college have a special placement assist cell. So we get placement opportunities from a number of MNCs. You also get job opportunities from top tier companies. In computer science course almost 99% of the student getss placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Since the institution is government funded the fees is low. And also the fees Hike is less frequent. The complete course of education May some up to atmost 1 lakh through the 4 year. Also there are a number of scholarships that are available even from the aluminisof the college.

Campus Life :

Our college annual festival is the second biggest college festival in Kerala. The name of our cultural fest is dhwani and the name of the technical fest is Drishti. Our college also have a dedicated library. And the club culture is to good.

Admission :

This college is the top engineering college in Kerala engineering. So the admission is little difficult. I had to write KEAM entrance exam. So if you can score within the first 1000 rank then you can get admission for computer science.

Faculty :

The main professors in the college are well educated and well qualified and they also have some temporary professors they are also well educated. The average faculty to student ratio is there is a professor for 75 students. And their approach to the teaching is well and they also use modern technology is for better teaching experience. And also the availability of teachers for doubt clearance is too good.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
