Course Curriculum Overview :

They have introduced the stream subjects in the first year itself in the new curriculum which is generally added in the second year It is more focused on real world applications rather than rote learning without much relevance The area I would like to improve is to give freedom for students to choose the subjects from other streams as well The frequency of exams are 2 times in a semester And their difficulty is generally moderate

Internships Opportunities :

The internship period starts from the third year where we can apply for in college internship opportunities and the company are Google Apple Microsoft Samsung etc. And they offer the stipend around 50k to 1 lakh per month generally the projects they give are generally as usual for a typical intern

Placement Experience :

From 6th semester the student can get the internship from the college which is very important for the campus placement and from the 7th or 8th semester they can sit in the placements round for the interview. The companies that visit our campus are Apple Google Microsoft Amazon Nvidia Samsung etc and number of offers are generally made around 70-80% of the total number of students Highest package will be around 1 or 2 CR The average package will be around 15 lacs Around 70% of the students get placed My plans after getting the degree is to get a good job

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

My 4 year fees structure is as follows 1st year- 229000 2nd year- 236700 3rd year- 246700 4th year- 266700 The increment is just a little bit year on year which is fair in my opinion but the fees is high for the government college that I agree There are government scholarships for mostly students from Economic Weaker Section Which is available on the website

Campus Life :

My overall experience of the campus life is great We have many societies which any student can join after they interview according to their interest The main fest of my college is Engi fest which is held generally in mid February The others fests like Yuvaan, Vihaan etc also happen The range of books in library are very good and you can get it very easily by providing your ID card and you have to return them in time or you will get a fine for that The sports and extra curricular activities offered on campus are great you can play cricket football basketball tennis badminton table tennis etc

Admission :

Eligibility is from the JEE mains exam after which the counselling is done by Jac Delhi tele counselling which includes colleges like DTU NSUT and IIITD The application process is easy and is on the website of the Jac Delhi counselling where we can find the application form and application fees is about Rs 1000 and application date can be found on their website For finalizing the seat you need to give 95000 which is high and my suggestion is to decrease this amount

Faculty :

The student to faculty ratio would be around 1:10 or 1:12. It doesn't impacts my learning experience as such as you would get ample time to connect with them and learn from them Most of the faculty have done PHD in their field and have good experience and some of their approach are very good towards teaching and passionate about it while some others are just not so much passionate and good as them Teachers are approachable mostly through Class Representatives and we can interact with them in the class

Placement Experience:

Placements are going abyssmal recently. due to sudden hike in number of students and the recession going on, there is utter discomfort among students regarding the placement season. most companies do visit the campus, but theyjust take 2 or 3 students and leave. the packages are pretty good, but only few people get to bag those. so at the end of season, there is a few population placed in good companies, and a big population left unemployed.

Good placement opportunities student can sit for placement from 7th semester companies will come. Avg package for cse/IT is around 7 lpa and for ece is 4-5 lpa. No good internship opportunities on campus you have to try off campus. Top recruiters are zomato, chayos, amazon, zs associates, josh technology, tcs, juapay, cvent, cognizant, yamaha and many more companies.... Highest package is 50 lpa in Microsoft and lowest is 3.5 lpa.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is okayish nor too good neither too bad the average package here is around 6 lpa which is less but some companies do come and place the students in the campus itself also the network of alumni is good they also apply for offcampus placement and try build a network for the juniors. We often get internship notification from our seniors only

Course Curriculum Overview:

DU has many reputable colleges and departments that offer high-quality education, but like any institution, there may be variations in the quality of education depending on the specific course, faculty members, resources available, and other factors. there is some frequency for exam along with your perspective on their moderate level

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester companies started hiring interns which happens incampus obviously and they also pay kind of decent stipend somewhere around 20-40k. Placements here is decent enough like if you want that 1cr package you'll have to look for off campus placement.

Last years and around 60 % of the students have been placed. Also the average package has gone down and most companies are IT, consultancy and finance. Especially low placements for core engineering fields

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I wanted to pursue engineering and ipu has a great reputation. placements is also decent.Faculty is nice and teaching method is also nice. Student ratio is pretty bad especially in cse. There are two exams in one semester the midsem and endsem. Exams are moderately difficult. The college is also in a very lively location in Delhi and has many places for students to hang out. Faculty at msit, is well educated and best at their job of teaching, almost all the teachers are experience holders, teaching at msit. It's easy to pass the exams If you study from teachers notes because most of the questions are related to their notes in midsem and endsem. Exams are of 30 marks and 75 marks and passing marks are 12 and 30.But the cse branch is considered as top branch in the msit and is preferred over the other branches is what I have been told by the seniors. The faculty is quite qualified and know how to teach labs are also well maintained .
