Remarks :

Admission process was through All India Joint Entrance Examination (IIT JEE). To join in Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, your average all India rank must be somewhere around 10k to 20k

Course Curriculum Overview :

Provides an excellent curriculum. It's actually beneficial for students but only when they use it in a proper way. People can go along their preferred interests and nitdgpis really a place which encourages their students to persue their interests

Class Size : 99Course Fees : INR 2025 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Regarding fee.. I fell that it's really high for students who doesn't have lesser income certificate. Because paying around 1 lakh a semester is really painful for the people whose economic background goes just beyond 5 lakhs

Campus Life :

With respect to infrastructure it's really really good. But sports facilities as a whole is average. But hope those wil be improved soon. Classrooms and library facilities in national institute of technology Durgapur are excellent

Faculty :

Average.. don't have very high expectations. Also I don't say that you don't find good faculty. .. except a few, most are really amazing. Also especially for ece students it's excellent. Thank you. Hope the review is helpful

Review on Guru Nanak Institute of Technology from one year of college experience

Placement Experience:

Recession is going on since last few years and being a private college obviously that has affected placements in our college also. The current situation of placement is not really good. Among students from all branches which each may have like 150 students, only 20 something got placed on campus. It is said that companies like TCS, Capegemini, Wipro, Amazon, Zscaler etc comes to campus for hiring but most just come and don't hire. This year highest package was 26.5 lakhs by only 2 students from our department, CSE.

After 6 semester you will be eligible for on campus placement. But you can get internship offers earlier. The companies visited last year are Deltax, TCS research, zscalar, yellow class. Total 51 oncampus companies came last year. Highest package- 32lpa Avg package- 11.47lpa Last year placement percentage was 88.9% My plans after the degree are higher studies and masters.
