College campus is beautiful and maintained especially the lawns.
Professor's are well qualified from top universities and are very helpful.

Some days we have classes at very long gap such as 1 lecture in the morning at 8:45am and next at 2:30 pm.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had economics and computer applications as my discipline subjects which helped with the basics of programming languages such as python, SQL, html etc. and much more for economics and strengthened my concepts of micro and macro economics. The course is easier and than Hons course and less syllabus than them.

Class Size : 300Course Fees : INR 20000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The college provide great internship opportunities as well to first and second years throughout the year. Being a Delhi University student you can also take part in placement drive help by central placement cell.

Placement Experience :

The placements of our college is very good. Big companies like BCG, McKinsey, Accenture etc held their placement drive in our college. The highest package of our course was 18 lpa and average is 6-7 lpa.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The complete college fees about approx 60000rs. Examination form cost in range of 500rs-900rs depending upon you have practical or not. The college provide scholarship and freeship for students whose annual income is below 300000rs.

Campus Life :

Tarang which is the annual cultural fest of our college is held every year in Feb-March. It is a 3 day fest and is very enjoyable fest. Noor is the Diwali fest by NSS held every year before Diwali. Library has wide range of books and journals available and are easily accessible. There is no AC is the classrooms but are well ventilated and have coolers.

Admission :

The eligibility of the course is not strict as that of Hons course as maths was not compulsory for it. As I took admission in 2021 the cutoff were on the basis of our 12th score. The cutoff was not as high as Hons and was relatively lower.

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio for long batch is divided as 1 professor for 60 students. There are Tut lecture which are doubt classes for which the further class is divided in 2 to 4 groups. We can reach out professor for our doubts anytime and they are always ready to clear our doubts.

My experience of Delhi University

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course was good for me as I'm preparing for the upsc civil service examination so political science helped me a lot in my optional subject. Through my curriculum I got to know many theories and approaches that we can see in our daily lives and as I just said I want to go into bureaucracy so it is helpful for me. There is no improvement needed as such because my professors were actually so good. We used to have monthly tests for our internal and semester examinations which were on average neither easy nor difficult.

Average college of Delhi university with good faculty and good college

Placement Experience:

From last semester students become eligible for campus placements. There is below average placement in this college. Students almost opt for higher studies. But still there are many companies which visits but they offered on an average 3 lakh per annum package. Only 20% students got placement and rest of them opted for higher studies. My plan was clear at that time to go for research in economics

Magic in Miranda

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been a lover of English as long as I can imagine. Being in Miranda only brings me closer to my beloved, as each one of my professors only seem to strengthen my affection of the language and for the literature it offers. It teaches you in abundance about how the world used to work and how it works today. One who studies english shall never ever fail to navigate their way through life. Considering the examination, if you have it in you to look at things beyond their exterior, you'll ace this subject. Though, I must state that being a subject course, it takes a little more than "one to two days before exam studies" to score a CGPA higher than 8.

As we can see , teaching method depends on old teaching that is reading and writing, professor comes and read the paragraph of the book and meanwhile students are noted it down...while some teachers prefers to practical learning other than this. See In our Admissions process We get to See many changes in the Admissions process and then the Education process like implement of New Education Policy 2020 which makes us deal with so many subject which are 7 in number and but talking about my college the teaching methods of the faculty members mainly based on the orally explaining the things or teaching through visuals like PPT which some How help us to understand the in a good and proper way. Good in terms of literal education but not the best one for good placements.

Placement Experience:

Third-year students are eligible for campus placement opportunities. Some of the companies that came to our college are PlanetSpark, RSVI, IDFC First Bank, FNP, Zoconut, etc. The highest package offered for our course is around 10LPA and the average package is 4-5LPA for positions like a translator, editor, content manager/creator, etc. However, the placement percentage of our college/course isn't that high. The average percentage of placement in our college is approx. 40%. My plan after completing the degree is to have a job alongside my Masters.
