NSUT' HONEST REVIEW

Dislikes

  • Only thing I dislike is high fees which is not as high but is approx 130000. Which still can be hugh for many people.
  • Well if you are introvert then you can feel little left out over here.

Course Curriculum Overview :

In the intricate tapestry of higher education, the relevance of the curriculum stands as a beacon of excellence, guiding students through the labyrinth of knowledge towards their academic and professional aspirations. A well-crafted curriculum not only imparts knowledge but also cultivates critical thinking, adaptability, and innovation, aligning students with the dynamic demands of the modern world.

Internships Opportunities :

The companies like Microsoft, deolitte comes for internship recruitment and students are offered stipend around 80000 per month . For this you need to build you resume in summer semester so that the coming companies can hire you

Placement Experience :

About 60 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package for the teaching branches is 18 LPA, for NON-TECH 9 LPA, and for the core branches is about 7 LPA. The minimum package for the teaching branches is 12 LPA, 6 LPA for non-teach, and 5 LPA for core branches.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is fee circular provided at the starting of the college life which is around 10 lakhs for an individual. There are various scholarships for sc, st, obc and ews categories released every year so that financial pressure is lowered om students and their parents.

Campus Life :

Our annual fest is MOKSHA, and we have our annual teaching fest with Innovision. It is a dream campus for many students. And resonace is the starting of the semester. There are various socities and clubs you can join. Almost every class room learning is projector based.there is a wide sports complex for soorts.

Hostel Facilities :

Well there are ac and non ac hostels given on the choice of the candidate and distance from home priority. The mess food is average. The registration for hostel starts on ums portal in the starting of the semester.

Admission :

You are only eligible if you have qualified jee mains exams. It's application form is available in nta website and is around 300 rs and is filled around December. There is qouta based reservation as state, sc,st,obc, ews. The exam is quite good and does require a well practised person to clear that exam . If reservation is removed and only pwd and ews reservation is allowed then many deserving candidates of general category will get chance.

Faculty :

The faculty members are good and sufficient. They provide quality education to the students. Proper practical labs and machines are available and the course is relevant. The semester exams are a bit difficult but nothing will come from out of syllabus, everything will be from whatever we have studied.

Placement Experience:

Placements are going abyssmal recently. due to sudden hike in number of students and the recession going on, there is utter discomfort among students regarding the placement season. most companies do visit the campus, but theyjust take 2 or 3 students and leave. the packages are pretty good, but only few people get to bag those. so at the end of season, there is a few population placed in good companies, and a big population left unemployed.

Good placement opportunities student can sit for placement from 7th semester companies will come. Avg package for cse/IT is around 7 lpa and for ece is 4-5 lpa. No good internship opportunities on campus you have to try off campus. Top recruiters are zomato, chayos, amazon, zs associates, josh technology, tcs, juapay, cvent, cognizant, yamaha and many more companies.... Highest package is 50 lpa in Microsoft and lowest is 3.5 lpa.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is okayish nor too good neither too bad the average package here is around 6 lpa which is less but some companies do come and place the students in the campus itself also the network of alumni is good they also apply for offcampus placement and try build a network for the juniors. We often get internship notification from our seniors only

Course Curriculum Overview:

DU has many reputable colleges and departments that offer high-quality education, but like any institution, there may be variations in the quality of education depending on the specific course, faculty members, resources available, and other factors. there is some frequency for exam along with your perspective on their moderate level

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester companies started hiring interns which happens incampus obviously and they also pay kind of decent stipend somewhere around 20-40k. Placements here is decent enough like if you want that 1cr package you'll have to look for off campus placement.

Last years and around 60 % of the students have been placed. Also the average package has gone down and most companies are IT, consultancy and finance. Especially low placements for core engineering fields

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I wanted to pursue engineering and ipu has a great reputation. placements is also decent.Faculty is nice and teaching method is also nice. Student ratio is pretty bad especially in cse. There are two exams in one semester the midsem and endsem. Exams are moderately difficult. The college is also in a very lively location in Delhi and has many places for students to hang out. Faculty at msit, is well educated and best at their job of teaching, almost all the teachers are experience holders, teaching at msit. It's easy to pass the exams If you study from teachers notes because most of the questions are related to their notes in midsem and endsem. Exams are of 30 marks and 75 marks and passing marks are 12 and 30.But the cse branch is considered as top branch in the msit and is preferred over the other branches is what I have been told by the seniors. The faculty is quite qualified and know how to teach labs are also well maintained .
