  • Less average package than expected for lower branches
  • Food quality in hostels is little poor and many controversies also keep on going regarding mess cleanliness

Course Curriculum Overview :

Some subjecs have very good curriculum while some have irrelevant syllabus Like engineering graphics is taught to every branch in first year while in some other iiits and nits it is not even a subject for electrical branch.

Internships Opportunities :

Third year students usually grab internships . Usually the package is approx 4-5 lpa but the workfield experience helps them a lot in final placements And internships help them in their financial planning

Placement Experience :

4th year students are eligible for placements Many companies like infosys and mahindra come for recruitments and they offer good package to students Highest package grabbed last year was of 2 students from ECE branch in which they got 48 lpa package Almost 50 percent students from EEE branch get placed through college placements

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fees is increased in recent years and is still at increment . Currently it is approximately 115000 for a financial year. But protests have made authorities to think twice before increasing the fees again and again Hostel charges are 6000 per semester ( without mess and canteen charges ) Per meal price is ?40 in hostel There are numerous scholarships that one can redeem like relience scholarship , up scholarship, girls scholarship And this university have seperate admin block for handling documents for such things

Campus Life :

Infrastructure facilities are very good, there are several clubs in our department like JUGGAD which is a technical club in which you learn about technologies that are newly introduced Sports facilities are top notch But the individual must prove himself that he is capable of representing the university at higher level All labs have AC and all equipments that are necessary Even workshops have plently of accessories for students

Admission :

Jee main must be attempted by the individual Quota are SC,ST, OBC, Rural area, Freedom fighter, Defence service Admission are done through JAC chandigarh counselling This counselling is opened around parallel to the Josaa counselling 40000 is the seat acceptance fee Seat acceptance is done between the councelling I suggest the seat acceptance reporting must be done after the completion of councelling

Faculty :

Classes are divided into two sections About 40 students each and further it is divided into two groups consisting 20 students each Faculties are very supportive and kind. If you are a average kid , then also you have very chances of getting back in any subject . You can approch teacher any time in their cabin and their is review form of teachers at the end of semester that is filled by students. Mentorship is also provided to students by human values professors by regular classes.

MBA students have 2 internships, one being chemical core internship, which is done after 3 year for 2 months which is not shifted to last semester of 4th year for 6 months. Apart from this, there is a 2 month internship for MBA part. Earlier it was 2 months but now it is, also 6 months in the last semester. MBA students gets their internships done, both paid and unpaid included. But for placements, that story is not so good.

the placements in the college are quite good , but one need to be consistent throughout the four years to get placement , the college brings a lot of companies in the campus and you can get a lot of opportunities throughout the four years. Student have to work very hard to get placement.

The placements are just average. Companies come everyday or everyweek. Placement drive keeps running all time. Packages above 10 LPA have very very high competition. Courses have everything to crack a good package off campus. But students aren't studious they don't know anything they just blame the university

Here the average package is 8lpa. Students start to get placements in their 5th semester. Microsoft, accenture, infosis, ibm etc are the companies which often visits for placement. University also guides the student for higher studies such as MBA and mtech etc. It provides guidance through dcpd, a department of career planning in our college

Some students can get start getting internships offers from 5th semester and most of the students can get starts getting offers since the end og 6th semester. There almost more than 910+ companies that visit the campus with various offers which can be from new Startups to MNCs. Highest package offered was around 2 crore pa and the least being 5 lpa and average being 10-12 lpa. 70-80% students can get placed from the TPP(training and placement program) provided by the college by the end of 8th semester. I plan to get a job as a java developer at first proceed towards a carrier in cybersecurity.

For campus placement students can involve in 7th semester also many students got their PPOs in 6th semester as well. There are many reputed companies visited in PEC like Apple, Microsoft,Adobe,JP Morgan,Goldman Sachs,Amazon etc.Highest package this year was around 58LPA on-campus while average of all branch turns into around 14.33LPA.Overall more than 50 percent students got placed in all batch while around 80 percent placed in CSE due to recession. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree or during my 4th year.

The placements in our college are quite good for my branch ( CSE ) but the mechanical and civil placement rate is very low only a few students sit for placement and are placed. Approx 80% of students placed in CSE, 70% in ECE, and 40% and 20% in mechanical and civil respectively. My plan is to go for a master's whether in india or abroad along with a part-time job.
