  • It's a very idealistic place so students may feel the environment as like that of schools. Compulsory attendance and assignments are very coercive for students.
  • Hostel facility was available for a very short period.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My course is very flexible since there are two core subjects, so I can explore more with my future competitions. We used to have internal assessments before the semester exams which included tests and presentations. Sometimes there were research too these assessments train us for future tasks very well. But they used to be very hectic since for each subject we used to get minimum two assignments.

Internships Opportunities :

There are mnay unpaid as well as paid internship opportunities. Ther is a placement cell of our college which look after placement opportunities. I was part of an unpaid internship at BRICKS , a social initiatives by students of DU. Many companies come for placements such as Godrej, Amazon and many.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees is very less in comparison to private colleges, bring India's top college, and spending less than 20k is very convenient. However if one has to live out of college then you will have to pay minimum 10k in good conditioned PGs There are scholarships and free ships according to your semester results.

Campus Life :

Well it's a very good place to live your qualities, it is compulsory to be either in NSS, NSO or NCC, so in a way students develop their athletic/ punctuality/ social qualities. There are more than ten societies which have different activities such as Western dance , western music, MUN , debate society and many more. However, you need to begin trying to get admission in these societies form your first year because it's not easy to get in. They even ask if you have prior experience.

Admission :

I was in the COVID batch so my admission took place according to my 12th merit. But now admissions occur on the basis of CUET UG marks. Since it's a to college so you must score as a girl more than 780 out of 800 to get admission here. For OBC and General there is no much difference but other categories can get benefits. Also there is sports quota too.

Faculty :

So, sometimes there are 50+ students in one class, sometimes 100+ but in anycase we have tutorials where 1 teacher has to teach 10 or less students, students get much time and space to clear their doubts. This impact is very positively since we keep our doubts and don't interrupt the class, during our tutorials we clear it. Well, teachers are fully trained and they have great degrees, specialist in different fields, having published many papers. I used to interact mostly in every class, whenever I have any doubt.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course was good for me as I'm preparing for the upsc civil service examination so political science helped me a lot in my optional subject. Through my curriculum I got to know many theories and approaches that we can see in our daily lives and as I just said I want to go into bureaucracy so it is helpful for me. There is no improvement needed as such because my professors were actually so good. We used to have monthly tests for our internal and semester examinations which were on average neither easy nor difficult.

Placement Experience:

From last semester students become eligible for campus placements. There is below average placement in this college. Students almost opt for higher studies. But still there are many companies which visits but they offered on an average 3 lakh per annum package. Only 20% students got placement and rest of them opted for higher studies. My plan was clear at that time to go for research in economics

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been a lover of English as long as I can imagine. Being in Miranda only brings me closer to my beloved, as each one of my professors only seem to strengthen my affection of the language and for the literature it offers. It teaches you in abundance about how the world used to work and how it works today. One who studies english shall never ever fail to navigate their way through life. Considering the examination, if you have it in you to look at things beyond their exterior, you'll ace this subject. Though, I must state that being a subject course, it takes a little more than "one to two days before exam studies" to score a CGPA higher than 8.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we can see , teaching method depends on old teaching that is reading and writing, professor comes and read the paragraph of the book and meanwhile students are noted it down...while some teachers prefers to practical learning other than this. The course that is selected by the students having career itself but we have to take notice that it's matter of opportunity gives to them.

Placement Experience:

Third-year students are eligible for campus placement opportunities. Some of the companies that came to our college are PlanetSpark, RSVI, IDFC First Bank, FNP, Zoconut, etc. The highest package offered for our course is around 10LPA and the average package is 4-5LPA for positions like a translator, editor, content manager/creator, etc. However, the placement percentage of our college/course isn't that high. The average percentage of placement in our college is approx. 40%. My plan after completing the degree is to have a job alongside my Masters.
