  • Overall waste management system of the college is often overwhelmed. This is largely due to the greater issue of improper waste management across the region.
  • Students are often asked to meet greater expectations while smaller meaningful goals are given less importance.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The Computer Science and Engineering department is revered and is the most highly regarded course for the KEAM entrance students. CSE course being one of the latest branches in the college, it's syllabus being one of the best in the APJAKTU, paired along with the great opportunities CET brings as a college environment clearly has its positives. Also CSE branch has been recieving the best in campus placement packages in all of the state. College conducted exams are of acceptable quality which one could argue is lacking in the University exams.

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies among the previously mentioned ones offer pre placement offers, such that select students are given internship opportunities under the institution before their intake into the company itself. Also the part of alumni in bringing in opportunities for students is great as many students who prove to be technically skilled are hired for remote work and such opportunities as well.

Placement Experience :

Students from Semester 6 start appearing for in campus placement drives. Students of circuital branches almost always secure a job before their completion of the course. Many companies like Amazon, Infosys, Texas Instruments, Tiger Analytics, Air India, Cred etc has visited the campus in the previous year and many students especially from Computer Science and ECE branches obtain good placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Since the college is statw run the fee for the entire 4year course is less than 40000 which is a very small amount as compared to many private and other government run institutions. It is not prone to constant hikes and other compulsory charges are alsp bare minimum. Further, many students avail scholarships and financial aids based on their academic performance and the economic background

Campus Life :

Disha(first years induction fest), Drishti (Tech fest) and Dhwani (one of South India's largest cultural fiesta) are some of the most renowned events and students often opt to CET even if they are offered a slightly 'better' branch in other colleges for the sake of experiencing these fests. Various sports teams of CET is seen participating in state level competitions and bagging impressive prices.

Admission :

Eligibility of the course is clearing the KEAM engineering entrance examination with the highest grades, since the cream of the students are seen to opt in CET and for the specific course of CSE. CSE course KEAM rank gener cutoff came at about 600 ranks and there are many reservations categories through which students could obtain their seats as well.

Faculty :

Faculty to student ratio is approximately 1:100 and classes are slightly overpopulated as to my liking. Teachers are usually of mentor mindset and are experts in a specific field. They usually take part or help students in their research ventures and supportive. However a very low faculty to students ratio often makes them less approachable to all students. Students often need to find online alternatives for their academic quests.

Students who have completed their sixth semester can start their placements. Infosys, Wipro,TCS, digitalcore, USTGlobal , Sutherland, Accenture etc had taken placements from last years. The average package starts from 120000 lpa and highest was 700000lpa. This year itself more than 800 students was placed in different companies. So I also tend to prepare for campus placements for my final year
