Course Curriculum Overview

4

Computer science is one of the best course to be done here since the IT industry has been blooming for the past decades. As the one who loves being on the computers i took this course to develop my problem solving skills and to enchance more on the ai domain. The course curriculum is updated every 2 years and they prepare you to compete with the other undergraduates. The improvements can be done in the course by letting the students to choose their special interests in first year, so that they will be well equipped for the future aspects. Coming to the examination, every year two main exams will be conducted also known as semester examination and in each semester you will have 2 class tests (cat).

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Our college has established strong tie ups with several industry mostly local and sometimes internation. internship can be done in any year mostly the internship process starts from the summer vacation during third year. you can also go for off campus internship by approaching the companies in and around your area but the college doesnt allow you to attend those internship during the working days. you must perforn some formalities before you can go for internship actually 3 credits is allocated for internship alone by our college. so it is a must to attend those internships

Placement Experience

4.5

Students moving onto 3 rd year are eligible to sit for campus placements most of the good companies comes at the 5 th semester.Mostly mnc companies visit our college and also some small startup companies. The highest amount of package ever recieved was 35.6 lakhs and the average salary ranges between 6 to 7 lakhs. 75 percent of the student get placed in the companies being visited for the 3rd and 4 th years. the other 25 percent will either go for higher studies or off campus placements. As im a first year i didnt attend my placements yet. After completing my degree im planning on to do my masters in iit or maybe abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is given below Through TNEA counselling (aided): 37000 Through TNEA counselling (self-finance): 87000 Management quota: 170000 You can avail scholarships by writing a scholarship exam or by applying for your community scholarship, or you can approach the office to avail the scholarships provided by the alumni. It took almost 1 lakh 70 thousand for doing my year here including hostel fees. The scholarships that are available are: community scholarship alumni scholarship first graduate scholarship 7.5 reservation scholarship postal scholarship

Campus Life

4.5

I was involved in the sports for some time just to keep my body fit and have a nice feeling after running. You all know what i am talking about. Cultural fests and interdepartmental sports events take place every year. Everything is free of cost and there is no need for paying registration fees to participate in these events. im currently enrolled in gate club which is for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year students to prepare for the exam with proper strategies and guidance. The sports facilities offered here are: athletics, football, volleyball, basketball , handball, and cricket, and also the gym facilities are provided by the college. the indoor games include chess, badminton,

Hostel Facilities

4.5

im a hosteller and i had a pretty good experience had some good wibe with our roommates but as time grew my vibe didnt match with their so i had to shift my room to another. A bed will be provided for you which is made of concrete we must buy our own matresses and for bathing you must bring your own bucket and mug etc. For eating buy a plate and a tumbler to take a sip of milk or juice. The food provided here is pure veg and you wont be able to bring non vegeterian food from outside. you can go out on weekends to have some good non veg food if you are fond of meats and stuff. the hostel registration takes place during the admission of the students or you might approach the hostel office by calling them.Cupboards and tables will be provided and the bathrooms are kind off clean as

Admission

The admission through anna university counselling took place online. Whereas the management quota admission took place offline in our college's auditorium. You can approach the college by contacting them by phone. The part of the admission process that i hated was doing so much paperwork and getting the affidavit stamp from a lawyer and so on. It would have been better if they had made the process much simpler. just search for the admission tab. Verification could have been done online .

Faculty

4.5

The faculty to student ratio is somewhat average not bad, most of them are well educated but still i can't say that most of them lecture well. It varies from teacher to teacher. Most of the college faculties did their college days both undergraduate, masters here. You can always approach the faculties whenever you have doubt after college hours if they are free. The professors here are well experienced and they are good at their field. Make sure not to mess up with the permanent faculties here as they might keep their hands on your internals.Normally this wont happen but this is not always the case. Dont try to be too late to class as some staffs are strict and they wont give you attendance even though if you come just 2 to 3 minutes late. Another thing about the faculties is they wont mind what is happening outside the class and they wont mind abouy your hair cuts and stuff. Just make sure you are presentable before them. I will rate 9 out of 10 for the faculties.
