Course Curriculum Overview :
Course is very relevant and properly designed. Coursework is just according to the alloted time. The opportunity to pick some courses out of other branches as electives stands out for me. Some courses even run with students less than 20
Internships Opportunities :
There are certainly internship opportunities provided. I'm completely unaware of them because I didn't take part actively in find one. But yeah even internships operate in the same way as placements, the portal for both is same. I would suggest a diligent resume preparation for increasing the chances of being shortlisted for internships or placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are Good but I would tell that most of them are from IT field. One who has a skillful knowledge in a computer language can easily find a placement. Data analytics is a field wherein highly paid jobs are offered in placements
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee I a bit too much.. For an Msc student IIT Delhi is a costliest place compared to any other college across india. We do have MCM scholarship for OBC-NCL, it's like 1000/ month for 20 months and also our tution fee ( 8500/sem ) will be refunded
Campus Life :
I personally enjoyed playing sports in IIT Delhi. The facilities are so good and are available to everyone. There are certain paid classes for sports like swimming, tennis, football wherein you can learn from Good Coaches.
Hostel Facilities :
Rooms are very Good. Depends on us how we keep our rooms. I kept my room very clean. Hostel facilities are all Good. Food is something which we cannot adjust to, but yeah they're doing a decent job. I would suggest choosing college hostels over rented rooms outside. Because rooms outside are so small and suffocating and troublesome
Admission :
JAM exam was needed to be cleared for admission into MSc programs. JAM can be cleared easily with good knowledge of subjects and by solving relevant problems from previous papers. Admission process was smooth and mostly online, there wasn't much paperwork
Faculty :
1:60 is typical faculty ratio, there are TAs for certain courses who help us out in solving problems and clearing our doubts. Faculty are highly educated and most of them are research enthusiasts. We can always interact with faculty personally or through mails.
