Remarks :

Positive thing is that faculty and department is very good. Campus is so good and clean. More importantly, in delhi to get such a beautiful campus is totally a bliss. Negitive thing is that politics is included in every thing.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Actually course structure is very good. No, exams and lab doesn't leave me with a hectic day. It's just kind of perfect course structure. Absolutely, course structure focused on research and specially teachers also motive us to research.

Placement Experience :

Yes, my college provides intership. I think there is no stipend. No, there are not that much scope of placements. It's very rare approximately zero. Once a company came, but due to some reason they postponed their interview. But yes, in other branches and language courses there are a lot of options.

College Events :

Actually there are mostly events hold by students. My college holds many cultural events. But management and technical are rare, because in my college sciences has a small department and opening of engineering department and m.ba. department is just one year ago. In upcoming year I hope there will be a lot of technical and management festivals.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible My acadamic fees is 108 rupee per semester. My hostel fees is 2.8k per month and one time security deposit is 6k. Hostel is alloted for every student. Hostel fees is really affordable & department fees also.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No loan facility but yes for the people who comes below poverty line, they can apply for MCM scholarship. In this scholarship one can easily pay his/her hostel fees. Other is you have already a scholarship then that can be also continued.

Campus Life :

There are many time when games and sports activities are being arranged by different different organisations. So one can get plenty of chances to get participate in cultural and sports activities. Department also organises different quiz and activities time to time.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel room is alloted for every student. Facilities and infrastructure is average. According to fee of hostel facilities are good. Mess bill is around 2800 rupee per month. Food is average and edible.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

College seniors are very good and helpful. there are no scene of ragging that's very good. Seniors are like brother and sister. They mostly don't interfere in junior's work but yes, we get a lot of help from them in taking knowledge about exams and other things.

Admission :

I want to pursue my career in physics so I made a decision to take admission in jnu, because faculty and facilities l in jnu is very good. Firstly I filled an entrance test form which was conducted by Jawaharlal Nehouru University, after 4 months result came and there is no interview for post-graduation admission. You just have to qualify the exam.

Faculty :

Faculty is highly qualified in Jawaharlal Nehouru University. Most of them have done their PhD from world's best university and they also have a good teaching skill. Their teaching interest can be seen during lecture.

Amazing

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students become eligible for placement.Moody Yamaha Karnataka bank, united airlines,Optum and many more around .the highest package from our department was 23 lakhs and the average package is 13 lakhs.The percentage of students who got placed are 80%.After getting my degree I will sit for off campus placement too

Reality of government colleges

Placement Experience:

For my course after 3rd sem students are eligible for campus placement but there are some conditions like all paper must be cleared by students. For our course there was a consultant company which provides 7 students placement and some students gets projects.the highest package is 7.9 and the average is 6 . Approx 80% of students of our seniors are placed others are doing internship.after my degree i will definitely try for the campus placement.

Life at JNU

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are basically two examinations held every semester. Mid-term examination and end-semester examination. There are 4 semesters in total for this course. The level is up to the subjects. Some are difficult while some are moderate.

Experience at dept of mathematics

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum is not that light, it requires to be taken seriously throughout. Had done BSc in mathematics so automatically reflex was to pursue a master's in the same subject, that's why opted for it in the first place. But later realized we can do a lot more things with the same course apart from carrying on a Ph.D.

An experience of college journey

Remarks:

Positive remarks :- College is really a peaceful place if someone say you have to spend your whole life in the hostel then I am ready. So calm and peaceful environment all around, peacocks in the garden and 5 o'clock pigeon sound outside the room was just amazing.
