  • Some permanent faculty members are very rude
  • Some courses need to remove from university because they are not providing any benifits ( skill ) to students

Course Curriculum Overview :

I really like the course the saw the syllabus and thats why i choose this course. My course is quite good because it contains some very intresting subjects like python ,R programming,C programming and advanced statistics which is very useful in corporate world. As we talk about improvements i think there is some theoretical subjects which can be replace by sql and powerbi . There is no complain about exam timing and difficultly because whatever comes in the exam is tough by processers.

Internships Opportunities :

I didn't get any internship yet it will be after 3rd sem but for my course jamia provide 100% internship in Indian bank we can join as we please. We have to do intership and then make a report on it and then we will have to present in front of department faculties and after that there will be a viva which will taken by external professors.ans thats how wo complete our degree.

Placement Experience :

For my course after 3rd sem students are eligible for campus placement but there are some conditions like all paper must be cleared by students. For our course there was a consultant company which provides 7 students placement and some students gets projects.the highest package is 7.9 and the average is 6 . Approx 80% of students of our seniors are placed others are doing internship.after my degree i will definitely try for the campus placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Jamia Millia Islamia University is a central university and the fees is less( 7000 per year ) as compare to other universities but there are some courses which is self finance and these courses are quit expensive for example i am paying 74000 fee per year for MSc banking and finance. The college provides some scholarships for those students who can't offord the fees but very few people gets the scholarship. Jamia have a a placement cell which provides placement for many courses students. But they need to do better they don't have much contacts ( or maybe they don't use them ) they can try to reach more companies for campus visit get some preshers from our college.

Campus Life :

The annual festival which is very famous in our college is ecocracy which is held in March organised by students and there are so much activities like chess matches , jamming, food stalls painting on the wall with prices . Jamia have a very huge library which includes every book you can get (including some good novels ).there is a sports complex in jamia which is very big and contains almost every sports cort .students makes society on social media platforms so they can connect students as many as they can for betterment of society. Also there are so many clubs such as dance, chess, table tennis club etc

Admission :

Eligibility of my course is just bachlors with mathematics or economics . application forms are on jmi.ac.in ( jamia official website) and there you can also see the application fee some courses have application fee 550 and some courses have 750 depends on ug or pg or diploma.application dates are also visible on its official site. There is a reservation for muslim as compare to general Muslims cutoff is 2-3 marks less but sometimes its vice versa.my course's cut-off in 2023 for generals are less then muslims.and the difficulty level is increasing year by year in almost every course. As improvement i can say they reduce the price of challenge an answer its 500

Faculty :

I can say everything subject of my course are assigned to different teachers and thats the pretty much case for every course. Faculty members are also highly qualified but sometimes the subject assignments to a temporary teacher ( they are not permanent they are on a contractual basis).as i said some faculties are very kind we can approach then anytime.

Interview Experience :

They asked me about my bachelors degree and the subjects i studied and then they pick any subject and ask from that subject and also they will ask why are you choosing this course. Firstly i studied my bachelors subjects briefly and prepare a good intro and the common questions like why are we selecte you etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are basically two examinations held every semester. Mid-term examination and end-semester examination. There are 4 semesters in total for this course. The level is up to the subjects. Some are difficult while some are moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum is not that light, it requires to be taken seriously throughout. Had done BSc in mathematics so automatically reflex was to pursue a master's in the same subject, that's why opted for it in the first place. But later realized we can do a lot more things with the same course apart from carrying on a Ph.D.

Remarks:

Positive thing is that faculty and department is very good. Campus is so good and clean. More importantly, in delhi to get such a beautiful campus is totally a bliss. Negitive thing is that politics is included in every thing.
