I really the way faculties teaches here. They are well qualified.
The campus life here is very good which you cannot find anywhere.

Course Curriculum Overview :

There are basically two examinations held every semester. Mid-term examination and end-semester examination. There are 4 semesters in total for this course. The level is up to the subjects. Some are difficult while some are moderate.

Class Size : 38Course Fees : INR 300 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees here are not much. It is around 600-700 for the whole course. The scholarship offered is inspired, mcm etc which we can apply for if we follow the eligibility criteria. It depends upon our academic and income resources.

Campus Life :

Everything here is good. They give quality education with negligible fees. Also, the overall ranking of jnu is quite impressive. There is a central library in which we can find every book we needed. It's a huge library with proper reading rooms etc. the social life is also good ad the campus is quite pleasant with greenery everywhere.

Admission :

I have applied for jnu entrance examination which is held every year for various courses. The cut-off was around 75 out of 100. There was also a reservation for OBC, EWS etc. I passed the examination and got my name on the first list. Around 5 lists were there. The application fee was around 500. The eligibility criteria were simple: candidates must have a bachelor's degree with physics as one of the subjects in any discipline under the 10+2+3 education pattern securing at least 55 per cent marks in aggregate. The course I opt was Masters in Physics which is a two-year course and is full-time. Candidates with a bachelor's in technology degree can also apply for this exam with a cgpa at least 6.0 out of 10.0 (or equivalent percentage). Persons with disabilities also got reservations in this university. For them, the criteria are they have passed the examination irrespective of their percentage of marks eligible to appear in the entrance examination. There was no negative marking. It was computer

Amazing

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students become eligible for placement.Moody Yamaha Karnataka bank, united airlines,Optum and many more around .the highest package from our department was 23 lakhs and the average package is 13 lakhs.The percentage of students who got placed are 80%.After getting my degree I will sit for off campus placement too

Reality of government colleges

Placement Experience:

For my course after 3rd sem students are eligible for campus placement but there are some conditions like all paper must be cleared by students. For our course there was a consultant company which provides 7 students placement and some students gets projects.the highest package is 7.9 and the average is 6 . Approx 80% of students of our seniors are placed others are doing internship.after my degree i will definitely try for the campus placement.

Experience at dept of mathematics

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum is not that light, it requires to be taken seriously throughout. Had done BSc in mathematics so automatically reflex was to pursue a master's in the same subject, that's why opted for it in the first place. But later realized we can do a lot more things with the same course apart from carrying on a Ph.D.

Remarks:

Positive thing is that faculty and department is very good. Campus is so good and clean. More importantly, in delhi to get such a beautiful campus is totally a bliss. Negitive thing is that politics is included in every thing.

Remarks:

Positive remarks :- College is really a peaceful place if someone say you have to spend your whole life in the hostel then I am ready. So calm and peaceful environment all around, peacocks in the garden and 5 o'clock pigeon sound outside the room was just amazing.
