The first thing that I liked about the college is that the faculty and seniors are very helpful and supportive.
The second thing that I like about the college is that the environment is very pleasent .There are greenary and lakes everywhere which enhance the natural beauty of the campus.

The first thing thai I disliked about the college is the quality of food that is provided in the hostels and also it is un-hyginic
The second thing that I dislike about the college is that the power cut is very common especially in the examination days.

Course Curriculum Overview :

So I want to become engineer that's why I choose this course. The curriculum helps us for real world applications by practising in the laboratory. There are three examinations - 1) Mid Semester (30 marks) 2) Minor (10 marks) 3) End semester (50 marks) Internal marks - 10

Class Size : 168Course Fees : INR 78000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

So as a student od Second year I have done my first internship at NFR (North East Frontier Railway) and had a great experience. But I you are willing to do in other companies then you can do easily. I have also done many internships like photography, editing, videography,etc.

Placement Experience :

From the 7th semester the students of National Institute of Technology, Silchar becomes eligible for the placement. There are many popular companies that visited for placement like Amazon , Microsoft , TCS ,HPCL , etc. The highest package is 52 LPA by Amazon and the average package is 15 LPA. Almost 92% of the students got placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

If you are a General category student the tuition fees per semester will be 78000 excluding hostel and mess fees and approximately 1 Lakhs including hostel and mess fees. The total fees per semester including all charges is 98000 and overall fees for entire course is 6,24,000. There are also many scholarships in the college that can be applied after taking admission.

Campus Life :

The name of the annual festival is Incandesence and the ne of the technical festival is Technoesis. All the books are available in the Central Library of the college. All the classrooms are provided with projectors for better learning experience. There are many sports activities like Badminton, Cricket,Football,etc. There are also many social groups and clubs like Eco club, Chess club ,etc.

Hostel Facilities :

In the hostel rooms of the college there are facilities like there are beds, study tables , two fans for summers , etc There are Nine Boys hostels and Four Girls hostels excluding the hostels for Married Scholars. The meal quality of the hostel is so good. The registration fees for hostel and mess is 22500.

Hostel Fee : INR 22500 per year

Admission :

For taking admission here there is an examination known as JEE Mains (Joint Entrance Examination) and the eligibility for this examination is that the student should be in 12+ . The main advantage of this examination is that it has 2 attempts if you failed to score better marks then you can apply for the second attempt. The process of registration of the examination will be mentioned in the main website of NTA.

Faculty :

The faculty of National Institute of Technology, Silchar is very supportive and helpful and all the professors and assistant professors are all higly graduated withs PhD degrees. The faculty which teaches us gives the notes and study materials which helps us in better understanding .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have choose EE because it's have both core and it features so i believe that I will go for core but if the situation changes then accordingly i will shift. The curriculum is pretty good in this campus according to me that's why I have choose this course. I don't think I have enough thinking level to suggest about that. Before exam there should be some gap for studies purpose I mean to say classes should be off. And everything is good.

Placement Experience:

Placement drives are held in December of every year for the students who complete their 7th semester. Placements are quite good over here, The highest package this year is 2.4 crore and the average package fluctuates between 20 to 25 LPA every year. MY GREENISH COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

My branch is Computer Science and Engineering. I am interested in computer skills like gaming, web development, coding, etc that's why I choose this course. In my college, every facility is provided like labs, sports ground and kits, medical facility, hostels and mess and, well educated and skilled faculty. Faculty : student ratio is around 1:50. Faculties are well experienced (Ph.D. holders) and have good teaching skills. But, I want to mention one thing that, you can't totally depend on the faculty, you need to pay extra effort by itself. B.Tech is of 4 years course that is divided into 8 semesters. Every semester 2 main exams are conducted. Exams are not much easy but also not too hard. You need to focus on academic too for decent pointers. If you are a sincere student then getting a good pointer is not hard.
