since being one of the oldest nit since 1956 some building and labs are very old but new classrooms are topnotch
professors does not give marks easily, and phd graduates and mtech students are rude.

Course Curriculum Overview :

since semiconductor economy is boosting in india i have choosen ece branch.curriculum helps in understanding the theoritical concepts and how to apply them in real world.it needs improvement in more projects and practical knowledge,classes takes place 5 day a week with 2 exams end and mid semesters

ATLACIAN GIVES ARROUND 12LAKH STIPEND FOR 4 MONTHS INTERNAHIP. OTHER COMPANIES LIKE TCS WIPRO GOOGLE MICROSOFT ADOBE QUALCOMM JP MORGAN ALSO PROVIDES PALCEMENT OFFERS.CORE COMPANIES LIKE TATA STEEL TELCO AND RELEIANCE ALSO GIVE INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES.

Placement Experience :

from 6 semester means third year people are eligible for campus placements,companies like MICROSOFT ATLACIAN ADOBE QUALCOMM GOOGLE etc visits highest package offerd is about 87 lakhs pa and avg is about 23 lakhs for ece and 27 lpa for cse 95 percent placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

we have to give 1 lakh arround each semester .if your are ews candidate your fees is very less means 2/3 of tution fees will be returned.even sc st canditades fees is returned.for general students you can apply for many scholarships within the campus.

WE have CULFEST Annual cultural club of NIT JAMSHEDPUR, We have URJA Annual SPORTS fest and we have OJASS Annual TECHNO-MANAGEMENT fest of our college.Along with this we host ALL INDIA INTER NIT TOURNAMENT every year.THERE ARE MANY MANY CLUBS AND SOCIETIES.

Hostel Facilities :

IN FIRST YEAR WE ARE PROVIDED DOUBLE SEATER ROOM OUR HOSTEL NAME IS HOSTEL I,HERE WE HAVE MESS INSIDE AND A COMMON ROOM WITH TABLE TENNIS TABLES AND CARRORM ,LED TV,NOW WE HAVE VOLLEYBAL AND BADMINTON COURT INSIDE HOSTEL.FROM 2ND YEAR SINGLE ROOM WOULD BE PROVIDED.

Hostel Fee : INR 300000 per year

Admission :

your rank should be less than 14 thousand in iit jee mains examination,you should also have your category certificate ready before admisssion.Mid semester exams are held within 2 months of semester start and end semseter after 4 months.

Faculty :

ALL the faculties are phd from different IITs and NITs .Therefore all are highly educated and qualified.There way of teaching is very new but syllabus is same old.We can interact our professors through PHD scholars ,Class CRs and seniors.

Campus placement is decent in lower branches but quite impressive in higher branches..like in higher branches like Cse or ece we have avg around 16 to 18 lakh ann in lower it's around 9 to 10 lakh which is quite good

All you need to know about BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

The placements are declining day by day. In 2022 the average package was around 14lpa and highest was 56lpa but after that it has decreased significantly. Percentage of students have also declined . In ECE around 80% students get placed with an average package of 11lpa . Companies like Nvidia do visit the campus.

B.I.T My Home town

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is good. Approx. every student is placed. The average placement is 6 lakh. The students are eligible from the 7th semester for placement. The company visited are Tata steel, Vedanta, JSW, Tata Power, Tata Long Products, Deloitte, Sclumbereg, Amazon, Samsung, CISCO, Akash, Fiitjee, Byjus, etc. many big companies. In every company there are 5 to 6 students are placed. The placement package of Tata steel is 10 lakh, amazon is 44 lakh, etc. The percentage of students getting placements is 85 %. I want to go for teaching in Akash or Byjus, etc.

NIT JAMSHEDPUR what you learn and what you experience

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from the 3rd semester, many students got PPO offers and almost all big companies visited and there were 2-3 offers on everyone and there is 100% placement and the highest package was 35 LPA by Microsoft and the lowest was 3-4 LPA by mass recruiters like tcs and Infosys. Everyone used to work after getting placed.

An average stundet of cs

Placement Experience:

After the completion of 3 rd years, students are eligible for placement. About 10 companies came when I was there and they don't have soo many offers. The highest package of 10 lakh waa given to our best student in computer science the average package was 5-6 lakh that's the average package of most colleges here it is the same. The placements of students were quite average about 70 % cause most of the students get diverted. I planned to go in some other field apart from engineering.
