Course Curriculum Overview :

I am a student of 4 year curriculum. yes! It's a little bit difficult to be familiar with the course system but our professors somehow gave a special orientation class to make it easier for ourselves. The curriculum also contain a research paper

Class Size : 123Course Fees : INR 6000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees in our University are not so much as it's a government institute and you have to get admission by clearing the pubdet exam with a good rank in the particular paper to get admission. Mainly the semester fees is around 3000/- only

Campus Life :

Campus Life is great we have a ragging free campus with a good seniors. They will help you a lot in any type of field. Infrastructure mainly the labs are really up to the mark than any other colleges in Kolkata and the sports complex are also good.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is also awesome. As I am a hosteler we have one of the oldest and largest hostel in Asia with an accomodation of 403 boarder, the mess system is also good.hostel rent is only 200. And hostel has awarded with Kolkata heritage title

Hostel Fee : INR 1200 per year

Admission :

The admission process mainly occurs through PUBDET examination which is under WBJEE board and we have to give the particular paper to get admission with a minimal examination fee around 500/- only. Also the college cutoff are not so much higher.

Faculty :

You can make a great interaction with the teachers as they are actually friendly with the students and they also make time to solve any types of problem related to course in any time . They also engage students in research field.

Advantages of joining Adamas University

Placement Experience:

The placements provided by adamas university are really good, it basically depends on the student and his own knowledge and skills, but still the placements of adamas are really good. For biochemistry, placements are good only after masters. After Bsc there are jobs but they won't pay that much which you can get after completing Msc. And there are very few jobs of biochemistry in India. But you'll have a great scope in abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course curriculum & faculty members are quite good, 1st of all I have preferred Bsc Biotech because of my extreme interest in genetic engineering & upcoming situations of Covid 19. Also, this subject has a possibility for a Blooming future in the upcoming days of the Pandemic/epidemic. The Faculty in This college is quite good & The laboratory benefits & materials are also Supportive & workable, This college provides one of the oldest Biotech labs in West Bengal. The student ratio is also balanced. Saying about Qualification of the faculty, The Professors have atleast 6-10 yrs of teaching exp and research performs in their career, they are all friendly & supportive and helps us to explore more in this subject The term exams are Moderate & have standard questions.

Remarks:

This college still today stands to be among the first choice of every student in the hooghly district and 2nd in the Burdwan University. The only negative part is that this college has a very high political presence in the campus. Though the present government said that they oppose such strong political holds in colleges but still this words has not been kept.
