Campus is good and also the atmosphere I think bathroom should be cleaned regularly.
I love the campus whenever we've time we used to spend time in our campus

I dislike bathroom specially and the garden area where no trees are there
I don't like the lab because whenever you go to lab some equipment is not in the lab

Course Curriculum Overview :

My mother preferrede about this college My preferred course was English (BA. eng). English honours is the subject primarily best for the various fields such as teaching, content writing, journalism, advertisment, pr, etc. It opens lots of career opportunities for students. Lack of communication among students in English language is seen often in college campus. Different events like cultural programs been conducted. lots of extra activities been conducted by respective departments in college. Scholarship programme by state government (e-kalyan ) provides scholarship to the eligible students.

Class Size : 2Course Fees : INR 10000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I was in the year of 2020-2023 session B.A. English . The minimum percentage of marks needed is 55 for ST. & 60 for General category students. The placements were offered on the basis of internships & merits. The highest package was offered by Times of India for a editorial post average package of 8.5 lack per annum.

Campus Life :

Ther are many programmes organised by the college annual function and annual sports meet.there is Library in the college ther are many novels and books in the library.whole classes are good fans and all.

Hostel Facilities :

This hostel is just near to the ranchi collge so you have to walk only little distance. The rooms of this hostel is big ,3 people can easily stay in one room , it's quite maintened but the one problem is it should provide a canteen, the food of it's mess are not good enough. Although it's a best choice

Hostel Fee : INR 4000 per year

Admission :

Candidate must have completed 10+2 from any recognised Board/The application forms you can get it from the office .In graduation you need to give semester wise exam. In admission process there are many ideas it should go online for admission

Faculty :

College has professional teaching staffs. College faculty members are quite friendly with students. Quality of teaching in college's faculty members are good. BA. English honours has its one the best professors. Dr. Bimal kumar Sahu (MA, PhD) HOD. of English department was among the best teachers we ever had.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I tried Shyama Prasad University but due to the high joining credentials of that university, I have to choose Doranda College. There are a total 4 exams conducted in 1 year of which 2 are internal exams which are conducted by the college itself and 2 are external exams which are conducted by the university and also known as end sem exams. Teachers should be improved as they are not very knowledgeable about their subjects. The curriculum is not based on real-world application as it's just a course for certification.
