Course Curriculum Overview :
Everything is good or we can say the way of teaching is very nice. Teachers provide us with a lot of materials to study and even then there remains no need to make notes by ourselves. But the way of taking exams is very bad. They take the internal exams a 7 exams in 4 day consecutively.
Internships Opportunities :
College students have to go to the companies on their own for internship programs. But college provides a project work programme inplace of internships if the student want to do that. Teachers also help the students for getting internships from various companies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The admission fee for every semester for boys remain about 28000 rupees and for girls remain about 13-15 thousand rupees only. The complete cost of education including staying in pgs and all remains about 5-6 lakhs(min. for boys).there are a lot of scholarships available for students on merit basis.
Campus Life :
Every different department in the college has its own society which are governed by the students. They organise sports and all extra curricular activites and fests of their own in the college. Library has a lot of extra books along with each and ecmvery book for the respective courses. Daily Newspapers also remain available in the library. College has different games and sports courts.
Hostel Facilities :
In hostels, rooms are available with three bed capacity. Every student is provided with a bed, table, chair and a table lamp available on it. And an electric socket available with every bed. Hostel has a vommon room with LCD tv available in it. Meals provided are good. Hostels are at a distance of 500 metre from college.
Admission :
Anyone can take admission here on JEE (mains) basis and HPCET basis.can also take admissions on 12th merit basis. you can find all details of admission and all on the official website of HPTU. The exams difficulty level of HPTU remains a lit bit high. They put a lot of work load on the students with a lot of unnecessary subjects.
Faculty :
Most of the Faculty members have a lot of knowledge and expertise in their subjects. They treat students well and we can approach them for any help at any time. Even the college Dean is also very helpful. Teachers help us in providing practical knowledge too by taking us to nearby sites
